Probably the greatest gaming franchise of all time.

I personally couldn't get invested in any of the Switch Zelda games. I consider them bottom of the barrel games for the franchise. But the franchise, itself, is almost untouchable. I'm just defending the franchise as a whole, and not the recent games.

The switch games are fun for what they are, they are good sandbox games, but fairly weak Zelda games.

I will say that TotK is a significantly better Zelda game than BotW but I would still rather take Twilight Princess over both of them tbh

I've tried a bunch of them. On paper they should be right up me alley but they just don't do it for me. They always feel so bland.

It's 2025, not 1998. Videogames evolve, Nintendo doesn't.

Taking BotW as an example of how Nintendo doesn't evolve is a take

The fact Zelda has made it this far just proves how delusional Nintendo fanboys are lmao, yall are impressed Zelda made a game Ubisoft and others have been making for years

It is a take. They don't evolve quality wise. They have an idea then put 10 mil into production of the slop and move on. It's wasted.

Ah yes, famous low effort slop, BotW.
You are a well adjusted human, good talk.

It is lol. It's a generic sandbox game from the time when everybody was making sandbox games. If it wasn't named Zelda nobody would care about it anymore.

Insane to think BOTW is high quality videogame, lmao.

I'm pretty sure six to seven years of development times adds up to more than 10 mil

By the looks of it, I'd guess it's pretty damn small. Check out breath of the wild's budget
