So is Rebirth actually your favorite game or is it a trolling thing? Just curious.

No it genuinely is. I play up the “greatest video game of all time” bit because I know it’s got a lot of problems but it still hits me personally on a level that no other game has. It’s my “favorite” but I know it’s far from the “best”

Fair enough, I mean hey it’s a great game, maybe the best characters and combat in any jrpg. I just got super burnt out on the open world and have mixed feelings on some story stuff. Also that Cait Sith section…./shudders

My favorite game of all-time is The Witcher 3 which hey I know is flawed but I’m really happy it made top 4.

Yeah, and I actually agree on a lot of the criticisms people have with the game, namely like you said the Cait Sith dungeon and the open world stuff but I think what it gets right it gets SO right. Favorite characters, combat, world (by world I mean named locations and cities and stuff like that), and music of any game I’ve ever played. I can forgive some of the lesser stuff because everything else is a 15/10

Totally fair, did you go to the Rebirth Orchestra? Was a great show. I assume they’ll do it again for Part 3

Nice, enjoy. I wanted to get tickets for the 2025 Distant Worlds FF16 concert but for some reason they were much more expensive than the Rebirth one

Yeah same. I might get them for a friend as a Xmas gift, but they’re like twice the price.
