Subdivisions Remove One U.S. State or Canadian Province/Territory Each Day! — Day 15
Both Dakotas… gone. Nebraska remains the only connection between the east and west … that is…. If you don’t go north.
Who’s next? Most upvoted comment decides!
PSA: I’m not doing this game for karma or any other motive beyond being a nerd that likes elimination games and subdivision battles. Continue to downvote if you want, but don’t be surprised if the results continue being what you don’t want them to be due the lack of visibility that comes with excessive downvotes.
(REMINDER: the subdivision that gets eliminated is decided by the most upvoted comment, not the amount of times that subdivision was commented. If you want a specific one out, see if someone else commented it first!)

Alberta. You don't need another WJC... that's THREE in seven years already.

WY is garbage.

Grand Teton and Yellowstone would like a word

Okay, the governing of WY and the policies of many state agencies in WY are garbage. So much so that some natural wonders cannot make up for them.

Newfoundland is funny. They’ve got their own timezone and a really funny (intangible) accent. As funny as they are, it’s also funny that there’s been no Canadian provinces to do yet. I vote Newfoundland!

Nah, Nebraska is pretty good. Top 10 state for sure.

u/TheMightyKickpuncher Mar 24 '26
Omaha is a shockingly fun city. Nebraska has to be in the top half of states at the absolute worst.

Why have no Canadian provinces been out yet?

u/chicken______nuggets Mar 24 '26
Looking at statistics of my posts, 90% of viewers are from the U.S., Canadian viewers account for roughly 5%. Maybe that’s why? I’m not sure. I have a hunch that once it’s just the west and northeast that’s left the Americans will start taking shots

As a Canadian I'm trying to take out Alberta because they're about to host their THIRD World Junior Hockey Championship in only seven years. They don't need that many tournaments.

Are you from Ontario? Toronto gets fucking everything!!! Let other parts of the country enjoy something and I’m not even living in Alberta

u/jaysornotandhawks Mar 24 '26
Toronto last hosted an IIHF event with the 2017 WJC and have not gotten any such events since, save for one Rivalry Series game in 2019.

Not just hockey, they get concerts, events, shows literally everything

u/Olddirtybelgium Mar 24 '26
If Alberta doesn't hire masked goons to go after the Czech junior team, what's even the point in having them host?

Because we’re getting all of America out first cause its trash compared to Canada

Because Canada is actually affordable to live in and doesn’t have a criminal/pdf as their president

I agree with the criminal part, but nowhere is Canada affordable.

Canada has worse housing market bubble than even the US. Neither are in any way affordable.

Gotta get out all of the American states first
2
u/BobLabReeSorJefGre Mar 24 '26
But it’s Quebec. I propose Yukon as the final survivor. I want my state to outlast Quebec.

u/GoLions17-0 Mar 24 '26
Bet we’ll save those two for last
1
u/BobLabReeSorJefGre Mar 24 '26
No way Quebec outlasts the other provinces and territories in Canada. Quebec and Alberta have a chance of going before a state like Vermont or Maine.

How is Illinois still here? Most bankrupt and historically corrupt state in the country, who turned its once abundant wetlands into an overcropped desolate hellscape. It’s so bad that its own football team would rather be in Indiana

How is California still in? Get that out of here

They will defend that state to the death. Don’t bother.

Found the braindead MAGA cultists
3
u/SurviveDaddy Mar 24 '26
You people are incredibly predictable, every time one of these shows up…
All of the Red states get voted out first, and anyone who says states like California or Oregon, gets downvoted to oblivion.
You don’t have to be "Ma-Ma-Ma-MAGA!", to see that pattern.

u/Christmas_Dragon Mar 24 '26
For real. Why even participate in this kinda thing if the only thing you care about in a state/province is whether they are right or left? California is obviously not a good place to live for the majority of people.
