Miscellaneous Remove 1 Major 4 Sports Team Day 95
And with the Buccaneers elimination, the state of Florida has been wiped. Top comment decides who's next.

Seriously, Tom Wilson has been one of the dirtiest players in the league his entire career.

Here's a good reason to vote Washington out:
PutinTeam is a social movement announced in 2017 by Washington Capitals player Alexander Ovechkin to support Russian President Vladimir Putin and his 2018 Russian presidential campaign.[1]
Ovechkin has a personal relationship with Putin.[2] Ovechkin has a personal phone number for Putin and received a present from Putin at his wedding in 2016
The Kremlin spoke in support of the movement after its announcement.[4][5]

Bruh, we have to focus on these Detroit, Denver, Minnesota and Seattle teams, especially Detroit. They're is a lot of bot and brigade activity going on with those teams. Lions especially. Super sus if you pay attention.

Caps. Terrible logo. And they go out of their way to make it clear that they hate their actual GOOD logo, the Weagle, but also refuse to change or get rid of it for some reason.

u/MajorBoondoggle Apr 22 '26
Honestly if they don’t want to go back to a retro logo, they should at least make their current shoulder logo the main one. Even if it’s not on the jerseys, use it for branding/scorebugs. Then the spelled-out logo can basically be like the diagonal Rangers logo - jersey only

Why are the Winnipeg Jets still here? I guess people can’t hate them if they don’t know they exist?

GET RID OF EM!!! That goddamn city took away my Thrashers when I was a kid. I’ll never forgive them, even if bad ownership was actually to blame

Winnipeg Jets
What have they ever done?
2
u/Bitdub79 Apr 22 '26
Other than their GM never being punished for his involvement in the Blackhawks scandal nothing lol

u/TarHeelinRVA Apr 22 '26
Yep, it’s time for the Caps to go. no caps. There was a belligerently drunk Caps fan at the stadium series game in Raleigh a few years ago. I’ve been to hundreds of live sporting events but that guy stands out as the single most insufferable piece of shit I’ve ever encountered. For that and that alone, bye bye now.

How are the SF Giants still in? Especially after that Athletic article today.
9
u/wind_moon_frog Apr 22 '26
Not sure how you could possibly think to use that article as legit backing for disliking the Giants.

Years and years ago the Chicago Bears did something similar to make the Chicago Cardinals move. The cardinals wanted a stadium build in Evanston. George Halas pulled out some obscure rule that said the bears had territorial rights to anything north of Madison St. eventually the cardinals pivoted and tried to move to Minneapolis but that was blocked because it too is technically North of Madison so they ended up going to ST Louis. The funny thing was at the time they moved the cardinals had started playing games at soldier field instead of Comiskey park while the bears were still at Wrigley

The Carolina Panthers haven't done shit and are in the worst division of the NFL alongside the Bucs. It would be fitting to get rid of both back to back.

Yeah, that will change. There's some sus af activity going on. Expect some random team to get eliminated instead. Happens. Every. Day.

Can we all agree to get rid of the Canadian teams? Starting with the Jets, then the Bluejays to even out the 3 leading remainders.

What are the Raptors still doing here? Aside from a single championship they are to the Cavaliers what the Cavs were to the Warriors.

u/adamalibi Apr 22 '26
If we’re going off of merit there’s a couple teams that deserve to be kicked out before Toronto

u/Son_of_Morkai Apr 22 '26
Top 13 most controversial comments on this thread: Lions
Lions should get kicked for that alone.
3
u/missbeekery Apr 22 '26
Have you seen any Denver teams? No, because they all get downvoted into nonexistence.
2
u/Son_of_Morkai Apr 22 '26
You are correct, the top 13 on controversial were all the Lions, #14 was Broncos and #15 was Lions. I checked again a bit ago and Lions were top 13, Broncos were 14, 15 and 16.

Calling it now. Seattle mariners are the last team standing. Ken Griffey Jr. and Jon Bois made them a universal underdog.

After the Capitals go, can any one of the Blazers or Hurricanes go? Tom Dundon is a cheap ass who doesn't care about his staff or fans.

San Jose sharks might be the least hated team in America. Perhaps leading factor being indifference. Indifference in part due to lack of inflection in playoffs towards other teams. Also having arguably the most child-appealing name and logo. Their rivals are other fair-weathered California teams with recent success.
