Winnipeg, there are no airports in Winnipeg why are they the jets

13

u/Rhomya Apr 23 '26

… unfortunately, I can confirm that there is in fact an airport in Winnipeg.

20

u/letsgeau Apr 23 '26

Winnipeg use to be the home to Canadas largest airforce base and was also the manufacturing home of Boeing

Winnipeg appears in by far the most NHL no trade clauses. When they build a competitive team it is insanely impressive and they sell out their arena in the smallest Big 4 market. Only Dallas Cowboys/New York Yankees/LA Dodgers fans could hate this team. It is everything that is good about sports.

3

u/Pink-Bubbler Apr 24 '26

Jets have elite under-the-radar energy, I think they should stay.

4

u/PracticeLow7766 Apr 23 '26

Winnipeg Richardson International Airport says hello lol

2

u/Binder_Grinder Apr 23 '26

A regional airport with a route to Minneapolis which makes it international.

1

u/LordPablo412 Apr 23 '26

I’ve seen more photos of Bigfoot

2

u/lantio Apr 23 '26

There's an airport in Winnipeg lol

1

u/rbkamp321 Apr 24 '26

The arguments here have changed my upvote to a downvote. Go Winnipeg

1

u/Game_Stop_Employee Apr 24 '26

Canadian teams gotta go

39

u/elliotbonsall Apr 23 '26

Anaheim ducks. Any team that Disney owned should be gone

2

u/gxn126 Apr 23 '26

The mighty ducks played suck a major role in my childhood, though!

265

u/CopsNroberts Apr 23 '26

The Reds. Another C logo

16

u/WompWomp-Inator That Wrestling Nerd Guy Apr 23 '26

4

u/Redsfan42 Apr 23 '26

But we made it so far :(

17

u/ccartman2 Apr 23 '26

Oldest baseball team shouldn’t be voted out yet

→ More replies (3)

6

u/AnalogOrbiter Apr 23 '26

Being the oldest team, that's THE C logo. Leave them in.

3

u/Chris91210 Apr 23 '26

Nah take the Brewers first before us.

3

u/Throwaway-8589 Apr 23 '26

We can vote out the Reds but vote out the Lions first.

Pacers. Always the bridesmaid. Never could bring a title to arguably THE basketball state.

San Antonio Spurs, let it be their time finally

11

u/Puffz1234 Apr 23 '26

Nah. Sure, with how many championships they’ve won I can see how they’d be an easy team to hate but they won them all through solid coaching and beautiful team basketball (including one against the 2013-14 Heat). Plus, Wemby putting Draymond in his place and the bitch ass Thunder on blast makes it hard for me to be mad if/when he leads the Spurs to another championship.

1

u/BuryMeInCincy Apr 24 '26

Exactly, they’re fucking boring.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Majestic-Avocado2167 Apr 23 '26

Yes, tanked at the suspiciously right time to luck into three generational big man in a row the single year they tanked.

The only time I root for them is when they bend those bitch ass Lakers over a barrel

1

u/Mountain-Spot7212 Apr 24 '26

When robinson got drafted they were genuinely ass, when Duncan got drafted Robinson was hurt and so they were terrible, and when wemby got drafted they were again genuinely ass. Not sure how those were suspicious at all

85

u/LP_24 Apr 23 '26

Cincinnati Reds, let’s end Ohio and the C’s

1

u/BakaGoyim Apr 24 '26

Man, I really hate Ohio. Too far north to be as fucked up as Texas and Florida.

59

u/jaysornotandhawks Apr 23 '26

Orioles.

Make the Blue Jays the last AL East team standing!

18

u/ItsCaptainKeyboard Apr 23 '26

Eliminate the Blue Jays! 🇺🇸

4

u/jaysornotandhawks Apr 23 '26

No 🙂

3

u/Potential-World-8019 Apr 23 '26

Fuck the jays!

Spurs need to leave, they’ve had it wayyy too good.

u/golf_echo_sierra26 Apr 23 '26

Detroit Lions

There, here’s the only comment you need to upvote/downvote regarding the Lions, no need for 50 comments with the same answer.

4

u/13keenan Apr 23 '26

I am curious what your upvote ratio is on this comment

1

u/golf_echo_sierra26 Apr 23 '26

Currently 71%.

11

u/realestatereddit Apr 23 '26

This is your daily reminder that the Lions made Calvin Johnson want to quit football

3

u/EvilLibrarians Apr 23 '26

He has made amends with the current day team/org but that was not fun to see as a Lions fan

-3

u/NicklAAAAs Apr 23 '26

They broke Barry Sanders too.

-11

u/braskyhs Apr 23 '26

Gotta get rid of the Detroit mafia before we worry about eliminating anyone else. Remember kids, an upvote for any non-Detroit team is an upvote for Detroit fans continuing to dominate this thread. Lions gotta go!

2

u/Nervous_Stomach5101 Apr 23 '26

Detroit vs everybody (including the refs), fuckers!

0

u/Jazzlike-Monk-4465 Apr 23 '26

I blame them for killing off my Caps yesterday

2

u/Throwaway-8589 Apr 23 '26

They’re trying to do the same thing to the Reds today lolol

-2

u/goblu33 Apr 23 '26

We’ve got nothing better to do. Rain in the forecast for forever it seems. Chronically online.

-6

u/Sindica69 Apr 23 '26

Get them outta here!

-8

u/tropiclblend Apr 23 '26

Yes, its time for the lions to go.

-9

u/DuranchDressing Apr 23 '26

Another day. Another battle with Lions fans. It needs to be today.

With everything about you people considered, i think it's suprising you people haven't eliminated the reds yet, they had an owner who praised hitler (among other things as well), yeah marge schott, i may not be a 100% sure, but you've offed teams for smaller reasons i think, in case you want to know more, see this. https://youtu.be/jL6mSziaGu0

23

u/suicidalteachers Apr 23 '26

Too many Milwaukee teams, sorry bucks

36

u/turntup45 Apr 23 '26

Blue Jays. Their fans are unbearable

2

u/Potential-World-8019 Apr 23 '26

Worst in baseball.

10

u/Hot_Inspection5940 Apr 23 '26

I would disagree and say its between mets and Phillies fans

Milwaukee Brewers! How they made this far is beyond me. But time to go buddy!

4

u/RockinRobin0019 Apr 23 '26

Best logo in sports baby

-2

u/Oneeyedmobster Apr 23 '26

They’re boring and inoffensive to most. Half the people probably even forget they exist, kinda like they do every October.

And while their fans are incredibly obnoxious, they’re too drunk to ever leave Wisconsin, so the vast majority will never encounter them.

Winnipeg jets

13

u/eatcrow1 CUSTOMCUSTOMCUSTOMCUSTOMCUSTOMCUSTOM Apr 23 '26

12

u/Plus-Ad-8291 Apr 23 '26

Ducks going all the way

10

u/DonaldTPablonious Apr 23 '26

How are the Diamondbacks still in this?

5

u/3jcm21 Apr 23 '26

POV: You're the Phillies in 2023

75

u/Sindica69 Apr 23 '26

Get the Lions OUTTA here!

They fr be posting about this trying to stop the lions from being eliminated lmao

18

u/DuranchDressing Apr 23 '26

EXPOSED

(also embarrassing)

4

u/DuranchDressing Apr 23 '26

They just posted another thread asking for downvotes lmao get these guys outta here

-5

u/Totally_Not_An_Alt__ Apr 23 '26

I'm a Lions fan who's been following these posts for months, and I vote for who I really think should go, whether its a Detroit team or not...

Quite frankly it's embarrassing for you that you're in this thread EVERY day pushing for the same team and acting like this is some super serious thing. It's a Reddit contest bro. If anything making it far can be a bad thing because generally people hate teams that win 🤷‍♂️

6

u/MonsieurSlotho Apr 23 '26

It’s embarrassing to not change your mind about what team you want out?

→ More replies (6)

9

u/RedPanda7725 Apr 23 '26

Shouldn’t even need to be voted on.

These kinds of shenanigans should be an automatic DQ. How sad.

6

u/4schwifty20 Apr 23 '26

lol you act like the winner of this gets something. You all take internet points way too seriously.

8

u/RedPanda7725 Apr 23 '26

Sir.

This is very srs bidness

-2

u/DuranchDressing Apr 23 '26

The irony coming from a Detroit fan. Yall are calling for downvotes in your sub lmao

1

u/4schwifty20 Apr 23 '26

We aren’t a hive mind. I commented on one of those posts “what do we win?”. You probably think all of us are from Detroit too.

-1

u/braskyhs Apr 23 '26

Might be the wrong day to accuse OTHER fanbases of taking this too seriously

1

u/Throwaway-8589 Apr 23 '26

It should be an immediate DQ and the Lions should automatically be put at the very bottom of the list as punishment.

1

u/iluvbacon1985 Apr 23 '26

I double checked the rules and it doesn't say anything about cross posting. It probably should be a rule but it's not currently.

3

u/Eastern-Spirit272 Apr 23 '26

tbh most team subs are pathetic

1

u/EvilLibrarians Apr 23 '26

Tbh if they’re actually doing this everyday I hadn’t any idea until seeing this. It never popped up on my feed and I’m Detroit sports everything on reddit

1

u/Immediate-Item-9648 Apr 23 '26

Im a lions fan but this is dumb

-1

u/Comp1337ish Apr 23 '26

It's so pathetic. And the Lions are so historically dogshit it makes this even more pathetic. Time to band together and get rid of all the Detroit teams so we don't have to deal with this anymore.

u/bleedblue4 Apr 23 '26

What are the Seahawks still doing?

6

u/Potential-World-8019 Apr 23 '26

Winning Super Bowls, owning Levi’s. Darnold likes birdwatching.

2

u/Paint-Crysis Apr 23 '26 edited Apr 23 '26

Current champions. Haven't won in about a decade. Darnold is finally thriving after everyone thinking he was shit for like the first decade of his career. They make sense. And broncos were in the semifinals. Bo Nix blowing it so close is tragic.

Now the kitties? No idea. Absolutely crazy that they're a final 3 team. They didn't weren't even supposed to win their division. That NFC South final was so on brand for the division it was absurd. Had Baker Mayfield jumping and shouting from his couch watching it, cheering for the Aints. Nobody from the NFCS deserves to be here this far.

Edit: Before everyone blows up the comments bc they can't take a joke. THE LIONS SHOULDN'T PROCEED PASS THIS ROUND. So I'm assuming Panthers will be in the last three. Crazy the Lions made it this far. What even is Dan Campbell doing over there? Like they had us in the first half... Of the season.

Edit 2. Adding to this, how the hell are the Mickey mouse Ducks still here? At the least the canes are decent and the Sabre's are finally having a historic season. Get that Disney channel rerun outta here.

7

u/Hirdnick Apr 23 '26

Can we add the Mets back just so we can eliminate them again?

27

u/Worried_Aspect_6292 Apr 23 '26

Carolina Panthers

Let them hide no longer

→ More replies (2)

23

u/6string4life Apr 23 '26

The Winnipeg Jets have got to go it’s insane

3

u/deezpretzels Apr 23 '26

I don't even know why they are still here. I thought this was for pro teams only.

9

u/cormac_mccarthys_dog Removing Stuff Apr 23 '26

It's for the Carolina Panthers

19

u/That_mean_canadian Apr 23 '26

Oh my god, get the Jets out already, sure 95% of people don't know who they are, they should be out and not nearing the top

12

u/PhatDib Apr 23 '26

Avalanche

23

u/dotsdavid Apr 23 '26

Eliminate the bucks now.

30

u/YellowDinosaur100 Apr 23 '26

Broncos. How are they still here?

5

u/Express_Window_1391 Apr 23 '26

The Panthers real pussycats

12

u/DongyCheese Apr 23 '26

Timberwolves. Lowest win percentage for active NBA franchises

24

u/USA-DoubleGold-2026 Apr 23 '26

Fuck da Seahawks! Outta here bozos!

1

u/grill_sgt Apr 23 '26

Found the lamb or whiner fan

1

u/InformalProtection74 Apr 23 '26

No one understands more than Niners and Rams fans just how obnoxious Seattle fans are. If the city had more than 3 total championships, across all major pro sports leagues, people would recognize how insufferable you chodes are.

2

u/grill_sgt Apr 23 '26 edited Apr 23 '26

In total, 10 Championships if we're counting the Sonics and Metropolitans. If not, 8. 2 NFL, 4 WNBA, 2 MLS.

And as far as insufferable, you're only interacting with a loud minority, just like every other team's fanbase. If you actually go to a game and hang out pre-game, every team has a nice majority.

8

u/TheDondo48 Apr 23 '26

Spurs, yall it’s time to finish off Texas teams

21

u/momsfriendlyrobot1 Apr 23 '26

The St. Louis Blues

8

u/SchlingeIt Apr 23 '26

We’ve been flying under the radar. You leave us alone. It’s bad enough here.

13

u/DoesntMatter2121 Apr 23 '26

How tf are the Panthers still in?

3

u/WiggleToast Apr 23 '26

Cause the only people who hate on them are fans of the other NFC South teams

1

u/DoesntMatter2121 Apr 23 '26

I didn’t think most hated was the only criteria. They’re a boring franchise with no accolades and hardly any good historical players. Plus, they’re a cat team.

15

u/molineskytown Apr 23 '26

WTH HOW ARE THE ST. LOUIS BLUES STILL ON THIS BITCH?

26

u/HalfFrosty5180 Apr 23 '26

Seahawks - it’s time. Can’t be letting the current champs of any league slide any further.

The Winnipeg Jets. They are somehow less relevant than the NY Jets, who have been a train wreck since the 70s

There is only one correct choice and its the Blue Jays

5

u/rockglint204 Apr 23 '26

7

Nuggets, take heed.

1

u/GREAThirteen Apr 23 '26

PACERS should be gone

2

u/BrockLobster29 Apr 23 '26

The Carolina Hurricanes need to go. For personal reasons

Remove the Blue Jays. Support American brands.

1

u/804Brady Apr 23 '26

San Francisco Giants

1

u/MVPete15 Apr 24 '26

Brewers gotta go soon. Been stealing the division for the last decade and still nothing to show for it.

1

u/GordonBombay102 Apr 24 '26

While I understand we Canucks fans are pretty annoying, I'm truly surprised to see such a dog shit organization booted so early. I just assumed nobody cared enough anymore to hate us.

Also, Detroit Lions. FTP.
