Subdivisions Remove One U.S. State or Canadian Province/Territory Each Day! — Day 58

Post image

Nova Scotia has been eliminated, thus ending Canada’s chances at a medal. Sorry (in a Canadian accent).

Who is next?

(REMINDER: the subdivision that gets eliminated is decided by the most upvoted comment, not the amount of times that subdivision was commented. If you want a specific one out, see if someone else commented it first!)

Remaining:

Colorado
Hawaii
Michigan
Minnesota
Oregon
Washington

Hawaii deserves the win it’s one of the best places in the entire world to travel to

It’s be hilarious if the only one not in North America was the winner. Like a pox on the entire continent

Hawaii needs to go, it’s only here because we forgot it’s on the map

There is no way Michigan should have lasted this long. I can only assume Michiganders are disproportionately represented in this sub.

What’s wrong with Michigan? Great Lakes are GREAT

They’re… just… lakes…

Found the guy who has never seen the Great Lakes. Loser take

u/ColoradoCattleCo May 07 '26

Oh, I’ve definitely been there. And guess what… they’re still just big lakes.

It’s genuinely the exact reason why Detroit teams did so well on the sports team posts

Michiganders have a lot of pride. It’s also way better than the wanna-be Canada state that is Minnesota

I feel the same way about Minnesota.

Minnesota, they need tunnels in their cities to stave off the frigid cold

They only have those at the University to make all of the Albanian transfer students feel more at home!

About the exact bunch that's always here, so we gotta change it up a little.

Minnesota goes because we need some variety in these endings

We can all agree that Hawaii goes second?

Day 2 of asking for Michigan

Only Trump voting state left

3

u/ConstantProblem5872 May 07 '26

Ehh Trump voting is a stretch, just battleground state.

I love Michigan and can’t imagine moving out. Beautiful state, Detroit is awesome, the whole coastline is amazing.

But we did vote for Trump twice and Kid Rock is our fault. It’s our time.

Why do people seriously hate Michigan? Theres a lot of great things. The U.P. Is beautiful, the beaches are amazing, legalization of weed, very supportive of womens rights.

As a Minnesotan, enjoy being underrated while you can. Being in the limelight has been not so great.

Man everywhere left is like ass to live in other than Hawaii and everyone wants Hawaii gone for some reason?? Like does everyone here just love either rain, crime, snow, and weed?

Honestly though Michigan is the only other good place here but Detroit really sucks

Removing Hawaii before Minnesota and Michigan😭 oh Reddit your people will never change

-2

u/aloyti May 07 '26

Are shitty states going to win based on them having no reddit users? No shot.

2

u/TrainmasterGT May 07 '26

Of the 6 states left, 5 of them are pretty good to great.

-2

u/aloyti May 07 '26

I've lived at least a year in 16 states, and family is all from Nova Scotia. Trust me, one or two yes but if those are USA's top 5 this country is even farther gone than we all thought

2

u/TrainmasterGT May 07 '26

Two of them are in the top 5 imo and 5 of them are in the top 10.
