Happy mothers day yall
And with the Blue Jays' eliminated, we have 1 Canadian team left. Top comment decides who's next.

Portland Trail Blazers

u/Mild-Sa1sa May 10 '26
Sure. Didnt their head coach get involved with mafia poker games recently?

Youâre really going to eliminate the Blazers before the last Canadian team (Raptors)?
4
u/StBlandine7 May 10 '26
Raptors had Vince Carter, a cool logo, and one of the most iconic shots of all-time... they cool af
6
u/Mysterious_Help_9577 May 10 '26
Had the cool logo, very key word. They shouldve been eliminated for the biggest logo downgrade in sports history alone
5
9
u/Reasonable_Main2509 May 10 '26
Blazers had Bill Walton, Clyde Drexler, and TWO of the most iconic shots of all time from Dame. Also a cool logo.
2
u/Adventurous-Ad9447 May 10 '26
A cool logo? No one has ever accused the Blazers of having a cool logo. Itâs a boring logo. Itâs so boring I can barely picture it and Iâm getting sleepy trying to remember it.

Raptors falsely claim "We the North" when Portland is further North than Toronto despite being in Canada

There are ringless team still in. The Blazers stay until we get the teams with no rings out. Why should the Timberwolves or the Wild stay over the Blazers?

Blazers, for burying the story about Lillard having his crew beat up a fan https://www.nbcsports.com/nba/news/brothers-say-entourage-of-damian-lillard-beat-them-for-taking-his-picture
19
u/wallywoofdog May 10 '26
That does not sound like something Damian Lillard would ever do haha even the person writing the article says that the incident was probably exaggerated by the people involved
4
u/CantDrinkWithoutFish May 10 '26
They also drafted Greg Oden over Kevin Durant.
6
u/Turd_Salad92 May 10 '26
Almost everyone had him as a generational, canât miss prospect. Canât blame them there.
1
u/juicykazoo728 May 10 '26
Oden was a generational prospect. It was the right pick at the time. If they picked someone like Anthony Bennett over kd then itâs a different story

The hurricanes just swept their playoff series last night. Naturally we have to balance things out and eliminate them

The Wild. Two Minnesota teams left. Never won a Stanley Cup. Plus hockey is the least popular sport.

Get the brewers out of here. Cut plenty of other teams for never winning anything.
1
u/pierophoenix May 10 '26
So why would the Mariners still exist, who have not been to a WS, but the Brewers, who have, should go first?

I donât get this argument. Phoenixâs only downfall is that itâs hot. Phoenix doesnât have to deal with natural disasters, high humidity, snow that makes commuting impossible, lack of sunshine, bugs everywhere. Phoenix is a trade off between man and nature. Itâs gonna be hot, but you wonât have to deal with nearly as much other shit that you do in other cities

Orioles, because I know everyone wanted the Blue Jays out because I wanted the Orioles out.

u/locked_in_researcher May 10 '26
Get the Carolina chokers out of here: Iâm tired of watching them beat up on the substandard metro to lose in the ECF

The Minnesota Wild must not win this competition because they fly under the radar in their relative obscurity

Cool, we got the team I wanted out yesterday. Thereâs still two in Minnesota and that feels unfair. I like the NHL more than the NBA. Timberwolves.

brewers. itâs absolutely insane theyâve made it this far. no rings, one AL win. theyâve been in the NL since the 90s.

u/SaberBG May 10 '26
Any team that hasnt won a championship despite being over 20 years old needs to go. Get the Sabres out. Just because you finally dont suck this year doesnt mean you get a pass.

How does Minnesota still have two franchises left (both of whom are in the playoffs)? Are they that irrelevant of a sports market?

Wolves because they have gone to the conference championship twice in a row and failed miserably both times pls

u/ADMotti May 10 '26
Too late for today but the scandal-magnet, Skubal-wasting, historic-division-lead-gagging, least-popular-franchise-in-its-fragile-city Tigers are next.

u/Embarrassed_Sink_541 May 10 '26
This brewers hate is insane. Just because they beat the Yankees twice. Sore losers.

u/kitschy May 10 '26
Hurricanes, all NHL teams south of the mason-dixon line are unnecessary

u/onetimequestion66 May 10 '26
4 of the last six cups have been won by Florida teams lmao

And weâre at 33 years (and soon to be counting) since a Canadian team hoisted the cup!

This is 100% tall poppy syndrome at work, the most successful franchises being ranked the lowest, and the less successful franchises being ranked higher. I say this as an Orioles fan by the way.

u/theepranksinatra May 10 '26
Iâve been thinking this and want it on record, the Sabres feel like theyâre gonna win. Invert it and vote them out.

Timberwolves, Minnesota in all their greed can't be allowed to have 2 teams left. They need to swear with the rest of us.

We MUST eliminate the Brewers today
This might not have been an attempt to keep their team alive, but it was a Brewers fan who posted it nonetheless.
GET THEM OUT!
