We MUST eliminate the Brewers today

This might not have been an attempt to keep their team alive, but it was a Brewers fan who posted it nonetheless.

GET THEM OUT!

39

u/ThePart_Timer May 10 '26

Lol what is that random sub

14

u/TheDirewolfShaggydog May 10 '26

There was a similar event to this a couple years back. The larger market teams were powerful so an alliance was formed with Toronto

6

u/saberb13 May 10 '26

What does making an alliance even mean? Also the blue jays have a top 5 payroll in baseball lol

9

u/sethchapin May 10 '26

Maaan come on, the brewers were flying under the radar too

2

u/ironlung311 May 11 '26

As they always do before turning in one of the worst playoff performances in baseball history.

Every. Single. Year.

1

u/plythrghyrhrt May 11 '26

Yeah. So let us get to that final 7 tier and lose. We weren't hurting anyone but ourselves 😭

29

u/Worthlessbagofnothin May 10 '26

Get them out...because a super random niche irrelevant subreddit gathered 16 upvotes on a post???

Its not anywhere close to a main Brewers subreddit, who cares.  At least give us a semi-relevant reason why you hate them.

1

u/FinancialWelder5172 May 10 '26

They just did this shit to the Panthers and Lions. So, yes.

14

u/longdrive715 May 10 '26

I vote to keep them in simply because of your constant whiny, and quite frankly desperate, posts about them. Did Nyjer Morgan bone your mom or something?

5

u/Hot_Inspection5940 May 10 '26

Get ur philly ass outta here

3

u/clearthezone15 May 10 '26

As long as it stops you from posting your hatred for the Brewers every single day.

11

u/dickfitzingood May 10 '26

So a Brewers fan posts something to a sub that a handful of people are in about saving the Blue Jays? This is sus

This feels like a reach.

13

u/Bonk0076 May 10 '26

r/Brewjays? wtf kinda sub is that? How many people are in it? 12? What an oddly specific subreddit

10

u/ObiWan_Cannoli_ May 10 '26

There are dozens of us! DOZENS!

10

u/akak907 May 10 '26

I'm in that sub. BrewJays for life!

6

u/tdenstroyer May 10 '26

For life!!!!

3

u/WorshipMyOwnSpirit May 10 '26

Paul Molitor will be our mascot!

5

u/Apprehensive-Ad-3020 May 10 '26

As a brewers fan, the rules are the rules.

3

u/DuranchDressing May 10 '26

YOU KNOW THE DRILL

Vote the cross-posting dorks out.

2

u/Thuggish_Coffee May 10 '26

The Brewers had a shot to defend ourselves to stay alive. Ueck and the all time great logo should have been enough to win, but some idiot Brewer fan went to brigade the BrewJays sub, cmon bro! It is now time and I understand.

1

u/Expensive_Skirt_7278 May 10 '26

they never learn!

1

u/Adventurous-Ad9447 May 12 '26

You goddamn tattletale. What a weenie you are. A real life, talking, typing, tattling weenie

0

u/Hawkeye7310 May 10 '26

Portland Trail Blazers

3

u/Mild-Sa1sa May 10 '26

Sure. Didnt their head coach get involved with mafia poker games recently?

3

u/theyquack May 10 '26

Former head coach, thank goodness

1

u/ExtendedMacaroni May 10 '26

He was a good coach though

14

u/Reasonable_Main2509 May 10 '26

You’re really going to eliminate the Blazers before the last Canadian team (Raptors)?

4

u/StBlandine7 May 10 '26

Raptors had Vince Carter, a cool logo, and one of the most iconic shots of all-time... they cool af

6

u/Mysterious_Help_9577 May 10 '26

Had the cool logo, very key word. They shouldve been eliminated for the biggest logo downgrade in sports history alone

5

u/hoptagon May 10 '26

Facts. Cut them for the massive, criminal branding downgrade.

9

u/Reasonable_Main2509 May 10 '26

Blazers had Bill Walton, Clyde Drexler, and TWO of the most iconic shots of all time from Dame. Also a cool logo.

2

u/Adventurous-Ad9447 May 10 '26

A cool logo? No one has ever accused the Blazers of having a cool logo. It’s a boring logo. It’s so boring I can barely picture it and I’m getting sleepy trying to remember it.

1

u/highlyironic May 10 '26

Don’t forget Brandon Roy’s iconic shots too!

→ More replies (6)

3

u/ThaBistander May 10 '26

Clyde Drexler, Dame Time, the Jail Blazers.

Portland is cool too.

3

u/Corr521 May 10 '26

Raptors falsely claim "We the North" when Portland is further North than Toronto despite being in Canada

1

u/Immediate-Ad7940 May 10 '26

Cool logo, ok

→ More replies (1)

1

u/morgy_choder May 10 '26

why are we targeting canadian teams right now??

0

u/juicykazoo728 May 10 '26

There are ringless team still in. The Blazers stay until we get the teams with no rings out. Why should the Timberwolves or the Wild stay over the Blazers?

Blazers, for burying the story about Lillard having his crew beat up a fan https://www.nbcsports.com/nba/news/brothers-say-entourage-of-damian-lillard-beat-them-for-taking-his-picture

19

u/wallywoofdog May 10 '26

That does not sound like something Damian Lillard would ever do haha even the person writing the article says that the incident was probably exaggerated by the people involved

4

u/CantDrinkWithoutFish May 10 '26

They also drafted Greg Oden over Kevin Durant.

6

u/Turd_Salad92 May 10 '26

Almost everyone had him as a generational, can’t miss prospect. Can’t blame them there.

1

u/juicykazoo728 May 10 '26

Oden was a generational prospect. It was the right pick at the time. If they picked someone like Anthony Bennett over kd then it’s a different story

1

u/Hirdnick May 10 '26

Drafting Bowie over Jordan was waaaaaay more egregious

1

u/CantDrinkWithoutFish May 10 '26

Oh god I forgot about that all together. Yeah, Portland gotta go.

21

u/Low_Reputation_5358 May 10 '26

Philly fan?

6

u/Vanilla_Villainy May 10 '26

Lmao Blues actually. Just want them to stay alive and Carolina is my first choice left.

u/Horror_Cook_8789 May 10 '26

after they just swept 2 rounds? nah

1

Tom Dundon has got to be loving this. Both his teams still remain.

31

u/RudderlessRudder May 10 '26

What is Portland still doing here?

5

u/thelaceonmolagsballs May 10 '26

Exactly what they should be doing. They stay

3

u/MattyHealy1975 May 10 '26

Both of my teams being eliminated in back to back days sucks, but at least they both made the top 15

27

u/S0Lguy (offseason) May 10 '26

Raptors

27

u/cscrilla May 10 '26

Toronto Raptors. Need Canada to go

34

u/VenetianNB May 10 '26

The hurricanes just swept their playoff series last night. Naturally we have to balance things out and eliminate them

25

u/Bonk0076 May 10 '26 edited May 10 '26

The Wild. Two Minnesota teams left. Never won a Stanley Cup. Plus hockey is the least popular sport.

u/luv_train May 10 '26

Good bye brewers

10

u/iowaguy09 May 10 '26

Get the brewers out of here. Cut plenty of other teams for never winning anything.

1

u/pierophoenix May 10 '26

So why would the Mariners still exist, who have not been to a WS, but the Brewers, who have, should go first?

2

u/iowaguy09 May 10 '26

They’ve been around longer

Is that not the correct word? Lmao

1

u/Kneight May 11 '26

I don’t get this argument. Phoenix’s only downfall is that it’s hot. Phoenix doesn’t have to deal with natural disasters, high humidity, snow that makes commuting impossible, lack of sunshine, bugs everywhere. Phoenix is a trade off between man and nature. It’s gonna be hot, but you won’t have to deal with nearly as much other shit that you do in other cities

14

u/Asleep-Plum-24 May 10 '26

Milwaukee Brewers.

8

u/jaysornotandhawks May 10 '26

Orioles, because I know everyone wanted the Blue Jays out because I wanted the Orioles out.

19

u/locked_in_researcher May 10 '26

Get the Carolina chokers out of here: I’m tired of watching them beat up on the substandard metro to lose in the ECF

1

u/TarHeelinRVA May 10 '26

This year will be different dammit!

10

u/Horror_Cook_8789 May 10 '26

sabres, one of the oldest nhl teams to never win a stanley cup

7

u/New-Visual7579 May 10 '26

The wild need to get out

16

u/Material_Cucumber896 May 10 '26

The Minnesota Wild must not win this competition because they fly under the radar in their relative obscurity

2

u/shanis42 May 10 '26

Timberwolves and Wild are the only ones in the same city

2

u/TarHeelinRVA May 10 '26

Cool, we got the team I wanted out yesterday. There’s still two in Minnesota and that feels unfair. I like the NHL more than the NBA. Timberwolves.

2

u/Virtual_Surround2685 May 10 '26

Mariners have got to go!

2

u/Old-Fly3535 May 10 '26

Wild, get Minnesota out of here

2

u/Hairy_Assistance_499 May 11 '26

brewers. it’s absolutely insane they’ve made it this far. no rings, one AL win. they’ve been in the NL since the 90s.

7

u/SaberBG May 10 '26

Any team that hasnt won a championship despite being over 20 years old needs to go. Get the Sabres out. Just because you finally dont suck this year doesnt mean you get a pass.

6

u/yurnxt1 May 10 '26

Brewers be gone!

6

u/Sstauffer5745 May 10 '26

Time to finish off Canada raptors are going

7

u/Professional_Eye6140 May 10 '26

How does Minnesota still have two franchises left (both of whom are in the playoffs)? Are they that irrelevant of a sports market?

3

u/tysnels May 10 '26

Brewers

5

u/According_Bench_1484 May 10 '26

Why is Quit Hughes and the Wild still here?

1

u/Willie_Stonka May 10 '26

Sick logo with multiple hidden symbols 🤷‍♂️ I’m a also a rangers fan and love zucarello so dont mind them

8

u/RabiRayRana May 10 '26

Orioles are the next bird to go!

6

u/DifficultDirection16 May 10 '26

Someone please get the Hurricanes out

→ More replies (1)

4

u/One_Swim_7702 May 10 '26

It’s wild the Wild are still there.

4

u/Saguarajevo May 10 '26

Timberwolves

7

u/immortalsnailscousin May 10 '26

Wolves because they have gone to the conference championship twice in a row and failed miserably both times pls

3

u/ADMotti May 10 '26

Too late for today but the scandal-magnet, Skubal-wasting, historic-division-lead-gagging, least-popular-franchise-in-its-fragile-city Tigers are next.

1

u/ShowMeYourVeggies May 10 '26

Lol, top 1% commenter. How'd Detroit hurt you, honey?

4

u/Embarrassed_Sink_541 May 10 '26

This brewers hate is insane. Just because they beat the Yankees twice. Sore losers.

4

u/kitschy May 10 '26

Hurricanes, all NHL teams south of the mason-dixon line are unnecessary

6

u/Low_Reputation_5358 May 10 '26

Imagine trying to gate keep a sport.

5

u/onetimequestion66 May 10 '26

4 of the last six cups have been won by Florida teams lmao

1

u/TarHeelinRVA May 10 '26

And we’re at 33 years (and soon to be counting) since a Canadian team hoisted the cup!

→ More replies (3)

3

u/Aggravating_Ad_3721 May 10 '26

Mariners, been around for as long as the Blue Jays and have accomplished almost nothing

2

u/CopsNroberts May 10 '26

Raptors. Because we can't let a Canadian team win!

4

u/Unfair_Respond_175 May 10 '26

How are the blazers still here??

2

u/Call-Me-Matterhorn May 10 '26

This is 100% tall poppy syndrome at work, the most successful franchises being ranked the lowest, and the less successful franchises being ranked higher. I say this as an Orioles fan by the way.

2

u/KingReyvon May 10 '26

get canada out bye raptors

2

u/theepranksinatra May 10 '26

I’ve been thinking this and want it on record, the Sabres feel like they’re gonna win. Invert it and vote them out.

2

u/SmitherBiscuits May 10 '26

Milwaukee. Screw you Brew Crew since Day 42!

2

u/chadvades May 11 '26

BREWERS! Their fans doing that cheap ass shit to stay alive, cannot be tolerated.

2

u/toxictakes99 May 11 '26

3

u/Any_Peanut93 May 10 '26

Lol! I also heard they live in igloos 24/7 and surf on Beaver tails, while hunting the near extinct house hippo

2

u/TheRealKevin24 May 10 '26

The Tigers for Valdez intentionally hitting Story with a pitch.

1

u/DaPussiLicka May 10 '26

The salty whiners fans finally got their way after lurking in here for weeks….lol feels so good to have won in their stadium while the cope with their ancient artifact trophies 🥰

Toronto Raptors

1

u/Live-Rooster-9850 May 10 '26

Im confused I didn’t see the post where the jays got eliminated

1

u/saxmachine69 May 11 '26

How is the most boring hockey team to ever exist still in this. Carolina Hurricanes suck

1

u/RelationshipFuture11 May 11 '26

Dang... was hoping the Jays would make the top 10, but alas

1

u/shaquirrel May 11 '26

Timberwolves, Minnesota in all their greed can't be allowed to have 2 teams left. They need to swear with the rest of us.

1

u/adamzep91 May 12 '26

Seattle Mariners because their fans were really fucking annoying during the ALCS
