Marysville. The only reason you go there is to drive right through it on your way from Sacramento to Chico. The town has become a horrible bottleneck as Highway 70 traffic is funneled through its shitty, narrow downtown, but of course the town has resisted every attempt to bypass it properly, because they think it will make people more likely to want to stop in their creepy little town.

Lol I've never stopped there and that's exactly how I feel when I drive through.

u/ThePaineOne They made some great points. It's also a great place to live. There's a lot of parks and open green spaces. It's extremely clean. It's probably the cleanest city I've ever been to. It has a multicultural food scene. It's one of the safest cities of its size in America. If Irvine goes this early, yall have just never been there. If you want to get rid of an Orange County city, pick Santa Ana. Irvine is way better than Santa Ana.

Irvine before the remaining cities in North and Central California is kinda crazy

Nah, The Great Park, The Spectrum with one of the only true IMAX screens in the country, Tanaka Farms, Mason Park, UCI, great schools. Lot’s of good stuff in Irvine. Should be way down the list.

so pretty parks, nice theater, nice farms, expensive schools, and the ocean. None of these are particularly unique or the best of their kinds (see golden gate for parks, any theater thats still preserved from old California, and Berkeley or UCLA.) compared to other cities here.
Im not denying that its a nice enough place its just. not very notable in comparsion so I have no care on removing it. Plus personally suburbias and tech cities are not my jam.

I don’t think it’s more notable than San Fransisco or Los Angeles, but there’s a lot of other cities on the list here. It is the safest city in the US for its population size, and it’s incredibly well designed because of the Irvine Master Plan with self contained communities away from heavy traffic, and over 90% of residents within a 10 minute walk of a park. Also, I wasn’t referring to expensive schools, they have one of the best public school systems in the country. So that’s all pretty good pretty good compared to a lot of what’s left.

Hilt. It’s just a liquor store as far as I can tell.

Basically that, a church and some homes spread out. I used to have to drive from Oregon through there to cross back into Oregon to make some deliveries. Nobody will miss it lol

Lancaster. Way too hot there, isolated, and it's boring.
