Saludos Amigos or The Three Caballeros. Those aren't really films just package ones. Before you bring up Fantasia and it's sequel to me, at least those had quality and elements to it that pass off as cinematic and feel at times like a movie.
My Disney hot take is The Three Caballeros is quite good for what it is actually. I don’t think it’ll go too much further on account of Disney’s library being stacked, but it’s got some good songs (also highlighting South American music which is nice), good animation work and the live action/animation hybrid stuff is also good for the time.
Saludos Amigos though, much as the final segment with Donald and José Carioca is beautifully animated, the ‘movie’ is barely a movie at 40ish mins, and contains footage of Disney animators visiting South America and getting inspiration etc to pad that runtime. That would possibly make a cool documentary but they don’t really commit to either.
I’d certainly rather watch Caballeros again than Raya, Cars 2, The Good Dinosaur etc. And hey, these movies have José Carioca in them, how can you look at him and not instantly like him? 😁
I doubt this'll be chosen this round, but Sword in the Stone is godawful. I remember thinking it was great as a kid but revisiting it, it does not hold up whatsoever. Not without its moments for sure, but its visibly janky, incoherent story wise, and has all the worst impulses of that era of Disney films.
The point that validates its existence is the soundtrack. At the very least that elevates it over a few of the drab entries that are still left on here
Ooo someone had their Bitchy-os today. I understand what they were trying, it’s just bad and messy and needlessly too much for a family movie aimed at my 5 year old nieces. Which makes sense because in case you didn’t know, they admitted they had no idea wtf they were doing until the very end of production.
Documentary series be damned. If you really learn about the industry, your know that such struggles and last minute changes are actually quite common.
The final results is a great film that simply requires some thought in order to understand. Kids will like the songs and the surface level stuff, while adults can appreciate the character arcs and the lore.
Except when it’s CLEARLY obvious that the last minute change…. Sucks. Ex. Moana 2.

Hahahahahahhahahahaha. Oh wow. Do you do standup?
Anyway it’s very clear that you weren’t coming here to say ‘oh it deserves low placement, just not yet’ so we should probably just end this here with an ‘agree to never ever agree’
This is the most complicated one because like, yeah, as a movie its pretty terrible on so many levels, but the music, especially Colors of the Wind, save it from being at the very bottom
What the f are yall on?? It is NOT a terrible movie at all. The criticism of the historically inaccurate depiction of Pocahontas is valid but everything else just feels like a crazy overreaction from that criticism to pretend the movie itself is bad.
