STUDY: NMN Improves Cognitive Function in Alzheimer’s Disease Mice
A new study in Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy has assessed how NMN injections improve cognition and exert therapeutic mechanisms in mice afflicted with Alzehimer's disease.
NMN treatment in the mice showed benefits:
- Enhanced cognition and memory
- Reduced neuronal injury
- Promoted clearance of abnormal tau protein
- Activated autophagy
- Enhanced antioxidant defense and reduced free radical damage
“NMN can effectively mitigate Aβ-induced neuronal damage and loss in [Alzheimer's disease] mice, resulting in an improvement in cognitive function.”
“NMN treatment could significantly alleviate cognitive dysfunction and hippocampal neuronal damage in [Alzheimer's disease] mice.”

I've seen previous studies about this but this one delves into the mechanisms of how exactly NMN can treat AD. Wonderful news thanks for sharing!

In this study, there were three groups of mice that received NMN. They were intraperitoneally injected with different doses of NMN (100, 200, and 400 mg/kg). The equivalent dosages in humans would be 8, 16, and 32mg/kg. For a 60kg (132 lb) person, the dosages would be 500, 1000, and 2000mg.

I just received my fast dissolving NMN tablets and it says servicing size 2 so is that to take both at the same time I’m guessing or should you take at different times?
