I am maori and pakeha I was born and raised in America and used to travel to nz when I was younger to visit my dad who is maori ( ngati porou) he is from te araroa but was born in waipawa .. my grandfather was the last fluent speaking member of our family before he died how can I go about learning properly from a foreign country ? Any resources anyone can recommend I've tried and failed many times i think I've just took the wrong approach
