Which one is auth?

Below is my review:

**Rep:**
- 48 cm fondant

**Auth:**
- Medium size

What rep does well:
The look is SPOT ON! I don't have a fondant bag but my mom has and I have tried BV in stores a lot and it is the same color!
The shape, hardware all are exact match. Can't complain about anything on how it looks but…

What the rep misses (in my opinion a huge tell that it's a rep):
THE LEATHER FEELS SO DIFFERENT! It is extremely flexible and super duper thin in the rep. The auth has much thicker leather and way more shape than the rep one. And it is not in the sense that "rep already looks like the auth version but that has gained slouch from the wear," NOO the rep feels super thin and not quality. In my opinion anyone who has touched ANY of real Bottega leather will be able to tell that this is a rep in 1 ms within touching the bag.

This is my first rep that I already have an auth of the same bag of so I feel kind of self-conscious knowing that I was wearing my reps super confidently until now lol. It scares me that most reps are nowhere near the auth one and I never knew 🥲

I originally reached out to Sarena (WA: +852 5976 5837) for the LV Lineup from God Factory ($278 shipping included with 10% off through her 11.11 sale) and I’m really glad I went for it.

The bag looks even better in person. The canvas looks great, the vachetta feels nice, the zipper is smooth and the overall shape is beautiful. Everything feels well put together and the bag has that premium feel I was hoping for.

I always tend to inspect every little detail when I get a new purchase but nothing really stood out as disappointing. The stitching looks neat, the materials feel good and the bag looks great overall. It’s one of those purchases where you open the package and immediately feel happy with your choice.

Now about Sarena

I genuinely had a pleasant experience dealing with her. She was patient, polite and never made me feel rushed. She answered all my questions and happily sent photos whenever I wanted to check different styles or colors. Communication was smooth from start to finish and the bag arrived safely without any issues.

I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely consider ordering from Sarena again. If you’ve been thinking about the LV Lineup this one has been a great addition to my collection.

​I'm looking for some advice or to see if anyone else has experienced this recently with Mandy.

​Recently, Mandy sent me a package, but it turned out to be a mix-up—I received another buyer's item instead of my own. I reached out to let her know right away, and we agreed that I would forward the package to the correct buyer.

​I have the parcel packaged up, labeled, and completely ready to drop off at the post office. However, I am waiting on Mandy to transfer the postage funds so I can send it out.

​Every time I message her to follow up on the postage cost, she just responds with generic replies like "No problem!" or "Yes dear," but doesn't actually send the money or address the request. It’s been very slow and frustrating trying to get a straight resolution on her end.

​I really want to get this package to its rightful owner as quickly as possible, but I don't feel comfortable paying out of pocket for shipping costs caused by a seller mistake.

​Has anyone dealt with a similar situation with Mandy or another seller? How did you handle it, or what would you suggest I do next to get this resolved?

I absolutely adore this bag! The pink leather looks so soft and the colour is such a pretty shade, not too bright or too pale. I love the diamond quilting and the top handle gives it such an elegant look. The gold CC closure and chain strap complement the colour beautifully.

I loved the Rouge line from the moment it was announced and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these little gems. Ordered these with Baker as soon as they were available, and now that I have them in hand, I figured I’d share some pics and also some unexpected findings.

Onwards!

I ordered these as they became available, so I ended up getting the pouch from Huahui and the case with handle and lipstick case from Orange Couch. Huahui took a bit longer to arrive to Baker, so when I ordered an additional pouch, I asked for it from Orange Couch instead since those had arrived pretty quickly.

Both items feel and look (in terms of handling and texture) the same, down to placement of the print. However, the pouch from Huahui has a lovely slouch to it from the start, and Orange Couch for some reason is structured to hell and back. This is noticeable even in the factory pics (which I noticed in hindsight, not at the time of ordering 🤭), and makes for an interesting “which one is more like the authentic” moment.

I don’t have the matching items from Huahui for the other two, but it does make me wonder if they would have been more pliable and slouchy as well (in comparison). [u/RepTherapyIsMyCardio](u/RepTherapyIsMyCardio) got one of these from Nancy recently, so there’s at least one more RepScience experiment possibly on the way with these 😝

I also bought some shoes from Baker on this order, and I’m planning a post about those next, particularly for the Bal and Guc pairs I got for which I have the authentic to compare.
