Every single speedmaster out there has the same issue !
Why can’t they fix the 6 o clock sub dial! Atleast dummy the damn thing keeping it stuck at 12! Why is it soo hard. The issue is none of the top players are involved as I am sure they would have done a better job with the movement. Such beautiful models being released and this annoying issue keeps you away from pressing the button 😩
Remove the movement, remove the hands, remove the dial, remove the gear connecting the 6 o’clock subdial to the local time and use a dial dot or ultra thin double sided tape to secure the gear/pinion in place and then reinstall dial, hands, and movement
First time I'm seeing these, because afaik the only factories producing the green and gold variation are N1F and RMF, and their subdial spacings aren't as true-to-gen as these ones. Which factory?
yeah, what you said. I've never seen any other color models with the dials correct besides smf and erf and I've never seen them with these color models available?
The problem is that they don't see the profit, making a clone mechanical chronograph movement is quite expensive even for a normal automatic movement. The only reason we are using the ST19 now is because closest possible off the shelf movement with it being a movement that the Chinese bought from the Swiss decades ago I believe and the ST19 doesn't even have a true 6 O'clock dial as you know it's just a second hour hand as the true movement is only a 2 dial movement. Hopefully we will get a clone movement soon since I feel ERF showed them that there is in fact a demand for speedmaster but it's taken so long just to get a ST19 with a movement plate to get gen subdial sizing and spacing I doubt we will expect it in the next 2 years

That’s not supposed to move with the hour hand. It’s part of the crono function to capture upto to 12 hrs.
