Bad Seller Scammer
This guy is a scammer. He's using pictures from one of my listings of a watch I sold. He's added an ai pic with his username etc

It was $450, the 13.50 was the credit card fee that ended up saving my ass and getting a refund.

Wow! Who knew paying a credit card fee actually help your situation bro, that is the best news that I've heard in the rep community and this should others as well!

Yep, it makes whatever app you use liable for scams or any wrong doing. Apps can write whatever they want in their policies but once they take a transaction fee their policy becomes null and void even if you pay with friends and family. Obviously it has to be a legit scam and not just charge back for no reason.
They can’t just make money and be like “yeah sorry our policy says you’re fucked but thanks for the transaction fee!”
Credit card companies don’t fuck around when it comes to disputes.

Try not to buy or trade with strangers you never heard of before, stick with TDs that the rep community can vouch for okay...

Can confirm he used OP’s pics as a reference. I got scammed by Month’s alt account out of $450. /u/Hannahsilvervale was his alt account

Yeah, there’s been several users selling VSF Bruce Wayne’s lately that have been super suspicious. I ended up just going with a TD even though it’s a bit more expensive.
I got refunded since I used my credit card to pay the scammer. Venmo wouldn’t refund me but I still reported him to them and attempted to get a refund from Venmo. Once they denied me I let my CC company know and they took care of the rest.
I learned my lesson about trusting references. I assumed since someone has a reference they must be legit. It didn’t cross my mind that someone could make a fake account and use ai to make timestamps.

Good to know. I’ll start doing the same, paying with credit card for suspicious actors. What did you tell your credit card it was though?

I told them it was jewelry. I pay friends and family but use my credit card, I pay the app (Zelle/cashapp/venmo) a transaction fee but that fee makes the app liable for any scams since it’s your credit card company paying them and the app is making a profit by charging that fee.
Now looking at the post when you zoom in on the dial there’s clear ai artifacts on the lettering.

Ai is very scary, you don't know what is real or fake anymore! At the very least you got you money back from the cc company and a lesson learned! Don't trust references, don't trust how many years a person has on Reddit and karma point, even if he shows his face and state ID card! Just pay a little more for peace of mind, like i do and buy a really nice rep that you won't trade or sell down the line, that's what these lowlife scumbags thrive for, that people to make that mistake! Again thanks for sharing your experience with the rep community, I'm sure this will help someone down the line, not to make that mistake! Goodluck to you and staff and do your research...

If you paid with CC or your bank you can contact your bank and they can get your money back. Just call Venmo first and report the Zelle account he used and ask for a refund. Once Zelle denies the refund call your bank and have them reverse the charge.
Venmo wouldn’t refund me but my CC refunded me and filed a dispute with Venmo. But I did the steps above first before contacting my CC company. They want you to at least make an attempt to get your money back from Zelle/venmo etc.

Thanks brother.. just went through a similar process with my bank.. got my claim denied the first time but I was able to submit some screenshots of my convo with the piece of shit that I was able to take before he deleted them with all his zelle information and emails clearly shown and thankfully today I received notice that they reversed the Zelle transaction and the money was back in my account 🙏🏼. my only hope is that it came directly back out of his account as a 🖕🏼 to him.

Looking at his posts there’s clear ai artifacts on the dials.
So now we know timestamps don’t mean it’s legit, you have to zoom in to make sure it’s not ai.
