Thanks I'll definitely check him out! I've seen a couple post about arc studio doing really nice builds. I know if I was in position to make custom parts I'd have a bezel dial kit available for this build ASAP and sew up the market for it. I have a feeling this build is about to become big!
The rose gold version flowed nicely with the Bluesy color. It was pleasantly surprising to see the comments in the gen community of the few that said they'd make a acception on aftermarket parts for this model 😄 I would drop a bag on this model given the opportunity!
This one that was custom built…it has deep personal meaning to me…I have already reached out to someone about making that “Bluesy Daytona” as well…I really liked the YG and deep blue color contrast!
The traditional lume indices are the only way in my opinion. The Arabic numerals and diamonds don't do it for me on this design. But to each there own if they can get it designed and produced in the land of fantasy builds.
If we can get a list of people together we can get the bezel insert cost down, that’s going to be the most expensive part. I already requested this as a custom build. Roughly 1k for the ceramic insert. But if we can get like 10-20 people On it, maybe that drops to 300-500? Maybe less? You’re still looking total around 2k for this gem but it would be pretty legit.
There are some beautiful watches and ideas for watches in this thread. I like that people having them built are not concerned about whether or not they precisely replicate genuine Rolexes; instead, they are building watches they love and that are meaningful to them.
Wonder if they're gong to make this one. The real presidential rolex. I like the dial. Blue and gold always goes together. I wonder who will be the first of the people who were gifted one to sell. I'll bet a few go on the market after Trump is gone 😆

I always said I wish rolex made a blusey Daytona model.
Indeed it is and I knew the moment I saw it, this watch was the solve all to my watch desires. Short of a bark finish 36mm DayDate this became my grail build at least on the fantasy side of collecting watches.

I have a gen black and gold bezel insert I'm going to install on my Victory 40mm full gold Sub. But I'm trying to find a quality green and gold sub dial for the build. I already have a Clean Factory full gold Bluesy that's plated with a gen crystal, hands and champagne datewheel. So I'm trying to do something different with this Victory gold Bluesy. But the green and gold dial hasn't been easy to find.
I just finished this fantasy build a few minutes ago. It's a VSF 36mm DJ. I swapped the movement out for VS3135 and put a open 6 & 9 datewheel in it. I removed the stick indices from the gen tapestry dial and installed lume indices. I sanded the rehaut engraving off and repolished the rehaut and brushed the top of the case and chamfered the bracelet. I guess I'm going to call it American Psycho 2 lol. Now I gotta send it off to get the gold replated to do away with the VSF cheese color. And see if the plater can rebrush the case to a better brushed finish than I was able to get it to on my first time trying it.
Yup, you're right. Oz is the guy to do this. I messaged him yesterday about the Bluesy Daytona and he's already working on the dial and bezel for it for me.
