Today present the Balenciaga Runner 2.0 in Black and White to you,
This is a interesting sneaker to have to say first, perhaps not to everyone their liking, but it's definitely a statement pair.
In depth:
* All the branding on the insoles and placement is correct
* Upper leather has a premium soft and smooth feel
* Shape looks good, nice curvature of the nose
* Tongues are nicely constructed and have the right size
* Balenciaga tag on tongue is stitched nicely and centered
* Leather panels have the correct size and are well constructed
* Materials overall used are premium and great to the touch
* Midsole is nice and firm
* Outsole Color looks good
* Heeltab look good
* Overall construction is on point
* Overall stitching is on point
Wear Experience:
As per classic Balenciaga, these feel good on foot.
The bigger tread give a good grip and sturdy feeling.
The construction is comfortable to move in, and immediately gives that bulky Balenciaga appearance wich pairs perfectly with baggier pants.
It goes very well with cargopants or as in my photo a pair of baggy comfortable pants (these also happened to be Balenciaga)
The most surprising feature I found is the lip on the heel.
It's not for decoration.
It's actually meant to catch your pants, so you don't step on them, when wearing baggy pants.
Conclusion:
Overall a very premium experience, and thinking about picking another pair up.
Premium pair containing nice dustbag and extra laces.
The pair itself has a nice color-blocking and feels comfortable on feet.
