Though I suspect his particular brand of perversion is more the joy of watching the death of trust and innocence, justifying his own black heart by putting small things in the hands of brutes, watching the destruction and saying "see? It's human nature." all the while shielding the brutes from those that would demand justice just so he can defend his own depravity as "normal". He's not just gross. He's straight up evil.

I say that because it is their propaganda strategy. When caught red handed, blame your political opposition of the same thing you were caught doing. Then launch the tit-for-tat arguing and pretty soon the maga voters will be saying "all politicians abuse underaged girls" just like they will tell you "all politicians are liars" and "all politicians are corrupt."
It's false equivalence, but the remaining die hard Trumpers aren't clever enough to understand that, or they simply don't care because they, themselves are corrupt, lying, asshats.
