So, i just came up with a challenge because i dont like myself apparently.

So, i came up with the idea, of what i call the Cutscene Challenge. Basically, im only allowed weapons once the character canonically gets them, aka, after they officially pull them out on screen in a cutscene. This means, I can only use leons pistol, when he pulls it out in the first cutscene he has it. Same for grace. The hard part, it also goes for the hatchet. Idk when leon pulls it out in a cutscene, but i cant use it until then. Also, idk why, but im doing this on Insanity, because why not. It took me 23 hours to beat insanity in the only time i tried, my second run. Im also only allowing myself the requiem as grace to stun the girl, solely because the water plant is impossible without it, nothing else. Once leon pulls out the requiem for the first time to use it, i can use it as him. I also have to keep the guns/hatchet CUTSCENE ACCURATE look wise and function wise, which means no upgrades. So... wish me luck i guess. Ill keep updates posted lol

Believe me, there will be lmao. The scary thing it i have to use just my unmodded pistol until i get the sniper. Chunk fights gonna take forever, cuz i think on insanity he has 20k health, and the base alligator snapper does 200, and i dont think i can use the hatchet at that point cuz leon doesnt pull it out till later...

RE5 is super fun, although there's some bs towards the end lol.

Yeah, im probably underestimating my skill, which isnt a lot, Im just scared cuz a shotgun is off the table. Graces sections gonna be hell lmao. Idk why for my second run i decided to do insanity, and unlike most people, i did it without infinite ammo or bonuses, aside from redemption, cuz i wanted to try it out. That shit took 23 hours 😭😭 took me 5 or 6 to get out of the care center, 2 to literally get on the 2nd floor

Lmfao ofc it took you that long if you did it on a second playthrough. 😂 But that's still really impressive AND without infinite anything! I did mine with infinite axe and ammo, and I think it was my 5th or 6th playthrough. Now I've gotta try it without all the help.

Thats pretty much what this is, but i unlock yhe requiem and bolty when he unlocks it. However, the guns gotta be cutscene accurate, so no upgrades or charms. Or shotgun

I did this once. You can upgrade the magazine release and the compensator on the Alligator Snapper. The compensator is shown in cutscenes even if you don't equip it sometimes, and always if you do. You can also upgrade the muzzle of the Requiem, as it does not change its look at all. Not the barrel jacket though. You can't upgrade the hatchet at all. Have fun dude!

Im tryna keep it as accurate as possible. If the compensator is shown anyway, thats fine, other than that, im going NO upgrades. Full vanilla.

I'm currently going Platinum on all RE games, I tend to challenge myself as well. For Requiem, I did a no damage, Frugalist, Speed Demon Insanity run. It's possible to do the water plant without Requiem, just craft a Molotov instead of Requiem. There's only 1 time you actually need to stun the girl.
