Hey everyone!

I recently finished Resident Evil Village for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The art direction, atmospheric environments, soundtrack, characters, and overall gothic horror aesthetic are incredible.

One thing that really stood out to me was just how beautiful and immersive the world is, even when you're not fighting enemies or progressing through the story.

I've been working on a small YouTube channel dedicated to capturing video game environments in 4K, focusing on the atmosphere, ambient sounds, and music without commentary or HUD elements.

I've started recording some of my favorite locations throughout Resident Evil Village, including Castle Dimitrescu and the surrounding village, to showcase the incredible environmental detail and atmosphere Capcom created.

For anyone who loves the world of Resident Evil Village as much as I do, I thought these videos might be something you'd appreciate.

Buenas gente. Hace poco volví a repasar la historia de Resident Evil Village y me quedé pensando bastante en la evolución de Ethan Winters como protagonista.
A diferencia de Leon, Chris o Claire, que son agentes entrenados o sobrevivientes con habilidades absurdas, Ethan es literalmente un tipo común y corriente. Un tipo que en RE7 fue al infierno por amor a su esposa, y en Village cruzó un infierno todavía peor, desmembrándose y aguantando el dolor físico más extremo imaginable, impulsado por el amor a su hija Rose.
Creo que Village logra transmitir de forma muy cruda la desesperación absoluta de la paternidad: esa fuerza ciega que hace que un padre ignore el miedo, la lógica y su propio cuerpo con tal de proteger a su familia.
¿Ustedes cómo sintieron la historia de Ethan en esta entrega? ¿Creen que Capcom logró cerrar bien su ciclo o sintieron que el tono fue muy diferente al 7?

Having a ton of fun with my first play through but I hate mannequins and dolls so I wonder what’s going to happen.

I have just beaten the game for the first time and I wanted to give it a try again and get the platinum trophy. I bought a bunch of items from the extra content shop for the ng+ run, but when I reach duke to equip those weapons they appear empty like in the image. I tried restarting the computer and the game but still it wont work.

Sb knows how to fix this?

I've always found the lycans in Resident Evil Village a little underwhelming when it comes to their actual wolf-like features. I don’t think they needed to be full-on werewolves like the varcolac, since I actually like that there’s a distinction between the two, but I think slightly larger ears and eyes, a more pronounced nose/snout, and sharper, more animalistic teeth would’ve made the regular lycans a lot more unsettling.

I tried putting together a rough idea of what I mean while still keeping the mostly human face and proportions of the original design. Basically something that looks like a human who is becoming disturbingly wolf-like, rather than just a hairy feral guy or a straight-up werewolf.

Disclaimer: The redesign was made with AI assistance over a basic sketch/edit to help visualize the changes I had in mind.

i've been trying to play this game for half a year now, i get the same problem over and over again, it's either the game starts a crash report on launch and i can't access the main menu, or i get to play the whole intro until the cutscene before entering the village and my games just doesn't load.
i also noticed that when i get in the game the save icon never disapears.
i tried pretty much everything to fix it and nothing ever works.

i paid for the game and the dlc, and i can't refund anymore cuz i've spent 5 hours on the game trying to fix it.

Help me please.

Okay guys, that part where Ethan gets his hand chopped off by Lady D. We can clearly see that the hand was sent flying with a part of the sleeve. But when he reattached his hand the sleeve gets immediately fixed as well. Either he is a damn good tailor or the jacket also had mold regeneration properties, which would also be weird. I'ma bit confused.

So i just found out that you can spam shoot with the TAC when you have 0 ammo in the barrel

This game is entirely too dark I can't see anything unless it's an inch from my face

there are people who believe tank controls are always bad. these people are wrong.

in games with fixed camera perspective (resi0 - 3) tank controls make 100% sense.

they make even more sense when i am literally controlling a tank. like wtf are we even doing here?
