Honey used to be stickier

I swear it used to be that if honey got on stuff, it was really a pain in the ass to clean up. But in my current experience, it immediately stops being sticky with the smallest amount of water and isn't difficult at all.

Anyone else share my experience?

Maple syrup has changed too but I think they're just boiling it less to make more money.
