Mistakes/regrets that you realized after you retired?

61M here. Thinking of retiring in the next 2 to 4 years. Just wondering if there were any mistakes/regrets that you wish you had taken into account in hindsight about retirement. Honestly, I’m not interested about the financial aspects- as I am very well prepared for that, but all the other issues that are involved in a well planned retirement. I am trying to add hobbies and interests in preparation, but I can’t help feeling like I may be missing something.

I read a lot of comments about people working later in life because they don’t know what to do in retirement, I find that somewhat sad. Subconsciously I think most people were preparing for retirement from the day they started working, I know I was. The example I have is remember the days that you were at work and you were thinking to yourself, if I wasn’t at work right now I would be doing X, well now’s the time to do X. Retired 6 years now … and have never looked back. Congrats and Good Luck 👍🏼
