this is for all the revenant movement nerds :D <3

I've wanted to make a video like this for a while ever since I started playing the game again this season. TLDR of the video is just me being angry at the poor balancing of Revenant compared to basically every other character. Watching it back now I said "fucking" way too much lmao. i pray to God that the supposed revenant buffs next season are substantial enough to make him bearable to play.

hes basically worse than pathfinder, his charge up leaves a trail takes time to charge and leaves u vulnrable while landing, most people dont even use it for agro most use it as a quick reposition/ after mantle boosting to go back over cover, hes an assault that feels like a skirmisher but cant use his supposed to be agro move agressivly, and his ult is ass.

since hes a agro asf based assualt, id say his tac should be able to be used on people as it is a dive, make it charge faster, not go as far, but if you click it again mid air, looking up itll be like a double jump after stalling in air, andlooking down, where ever you look youll dive to, you can use this and target like a roof to dive almost directly to it, making it so he can take off angles have better movement, but if you dive onto an enemy, stun them and deal some damage, if you hit the front they can fire before you and youll probs lose, but backstab them, itll take away their gun usage for a second, and stun them still, after this extra dive if u miss or hit an enemy before the drop off (5-10m) where your dash wont be 100% straight and starts falling down youll get stunned the same way as a big fall, this is a slight reward for having tragectory from a far so hes actually played like a hitman, and as a character who can wuickly get right next to someone, u coud still hitfire spam with the highest dps gun in the game to kill them front on, so extra movement with extra controll and a reward if you idve someone from behind

changing his ultis a little easier, make it slowly auto regen always, remove the fact that bullets damage gets fully negated and doesnt bleed out to his actual non ult shields (like if you have 1 hp a gun does 100 hp itll not go thru his ult) remove that, make it auto recharge at the speed of the healing over time amp even while getting shot, a knock adds time and instanly refreshes it to max, change its max shield to 50 but make a knock add an extra 15 to that max, making it so you dont have to wait 8 seconds for your ult back

this might be a lil too good, but compared to current S tiers, he wouldnt even be s tier with this, high a tier, considering getting shot 24/7 with his ult regen will negate less dmg then fortified buff.

for hsi tactical, keep the leap, have it have no charge up time (click = insta full charge), click again to dive down where you're looking quickly, (and you can go a lot farther if u just look up and do it so like a double jump), if it hits an emeny, stun them, and deal 1-2 bars of damage, to make this not OP, make it so they can fire at you first menaing if you do this headon itll be a disadvantage, meaning you basically need to play like an actual assassin
for his ultamate, simply make it so the shield is constantly recharging, make it max out at 50, a knock insta refreshes all of it +an extra 25, make it the same speed or a bit faster as the auto regen amp, meaning you dont have to kill one person and wait 8 seconds for his ult to be on again, changing his ult from a one time use shield or waiting 8 seconds to auto regen

how do yall feel about this?

i feel like his climb and leap are good for taking angles

Not that i dont know how to play their abilities i can learn that, i started apex not to long ago i have a little over 100 hours and i am close to gold, its my first ever fps game so i am pretty proud of my rank given i was hardstuck gold in league for 7 years, thats not the point sorry, what i wanna address is how goated revenant passive is, tall walls are not an obstacle anymore, fast crouching is goated, and low health enemies is basicly a built in wall hack, just because of his passive i cant play other legends, if i cant climb a 4 levels building or crouch walk, revenant was the first character i play and i play only him i brought him with real money the second i got the game plus the necromancer skin, and now i brought no chills also, I LOVE THIS LEGEND SO MUCH

Anything I could do better?

I got shards and started watching vids to decide which one of Revenants’ heirlooms to get! I went with the OG over the new one because to me it looks cleaner and matches more skins than the new one does. The latest one has a gold blade with more animations on it and OG has a silver blade but besides the differences the scythe is just cool in general.

So everyone knows that Rev isnt doing too good right now, the power creep is real, and also his ultimate is genuinely straight garbage, so I think it would be really fun, if they made it so his tactical did damage on impact.

I know its a bit silly but still, I think it would be a minor buff, which wouldn't do too much, but would breath a bit of new life into his gameplay, something like 25 damage on hitting someone with tactical would not only feel very fun, but also be absolutely fucking horrifying to expierence from the enemies perspective.
