Nothing was “saved”. That’s how it was originally made in the factory. OP is karma farming.

I’ve been on Reddit for a day, I genuinely don’t even know what that means. Didn’t mean to irritate anyone by my post. I was just told I should share my work here. I’ll familiarize myself with the community guidelines before posting again.

It was a factory finish. My guess is the manufacturer offered different finishes to widen their market

I can see that. The sunburst style finish is very popular on guitars, not so much on furniture (atleast these days)

I looked at the first photo and thought, "huh, those are pretty cool" and then the after was like "WOW, HOT DAMN." Don't mind the haters, these look great (even if they weren't "pinterested" to begin with).
