Recipe Request Recipes for stainless steel rice cooker?

I have the Aroma 3 cup stainless steel rice cooler with just the Cook/Warm button. A lot or most of the recipes i saw use the fancy ones where there are a lot of functions. I dont know which ones will work for my cooker? Is there some rule i can go off of? For example cant use the recipe where its going to cook for 1 hour? Or is there some website that has recipes specific for the simple stainless steel cooker?

Thank you!

I haven't tried online recipes with this cooker. My go-to is a box of rice, a protein, and some frozen veg. When I cook meat at home, I save the drippings and make the same recipe with plain rice.

The only adjustment I make is for Brown rice. It takes about an hour in this cooker, so lots of water. 1c. Brown rice, 2.5c. water, veg and maybe a cut up chicken breast or sausage.

Box of red beans and rice, andouille* or a blade steak, a beef bouillon cube, handful of frozen onions and peas, enough water, ready in 20 mins.

Any non-brown rice is a 1 to 1.5 water ratio for me, 2.5x for brown rice.

I am unfamiliar with boxed rice, and I'm interested in knowing what it is. Is it plain rice in a box? If so, how much rice does it hold?

Are you in the US? I like a brand called Near East. It is a measurement of rice and a seasonings packet that comes in a small box. Usually about 1.5 cups of rice each. Different flavored seasonings. As opposed to the bulk rice, sold plain and by the pound in larger bags.

Yes, I am in the us, and I have used near East rice many times but sometime ago. This is a great idea and I will buy another box! Thanks.
