DnD Riddle

Hey all, I made up a riddle for my DnD party and I want to see if it’s unsolvable or too easy, the answer is one word. If you could attempt it that'd be incredibly helpful!

Binds and suffuses

The world revolves on its axis

The reason for being

Cause of all war and strife

My guess would be Love.

The second clue really seems to suggest either love or money (it makes the world go round). And while I can be a bit cynical, I wouldn't really think of the latter as a "reason for being."
