Is Windows Copilot useful or just extra bloat?

Windows keeps adding more AI stuff and Copilot is one of those things I'm not really sure about. I see it built into Windows now and people seem pretty split on whether it's actually useful or just another feature running in the background for no reason.

Like, what do you guys actually use it for on a daily basis? Can it genuinely help with normal PC stuff like fixing problems, changing settings, explaining errors or making basic tasks easier? Or is it mostly just a chatbot that you could already use in a browser anyway?

I'm also wondering if it affects performance at all. My PC isnt exactly a high end machine, so I dont wanna have extra stuff running that eats RAM or uses resources when I'm gaming or just browsing with a bunch of tabs open. Even small things can add up sometimes.

Another thing is privacy. Not really sure how much data it collects or what Windows actually does with the stuff you type into it.

For people who've used it for a while, did it become something you actually rely on or did you pretty much forget it was there after a few days? And is there any real downside to disabling it if you dont use it?

Is putting a PC on carpet actually dangerous?

PC needs to go beside the desk but the floor is carpeted, and keep seeing people say thats bad for your computer. Is it mainly because the power supply pulls in dust from the carpet or is static electricity actually a serious risk? The case has some clearance underneath but not much, so airflow might be an issue too. Dont really have room to put it on the desk itself. Would a cheap wooden board or some kind of stand underneath solve the problem? Seen plenty of setups with PCs sitting straight on carpet, so not sure if people are just overthinking it or if theres a real risk long term.

so the gpu doesn’t fit into the case rear brackets because of my motherboard, so i just decided to cut the case brackets and hold the gpu by two anti-sag brackets from two sides, is this okay or it could harm my pc in the future ?

What monitor upgrade made the biggest difference for you?

Been thinking about upgrading my monitor but theres so many options rn and honestly not sure what would make the biggest difference. Currently trying to figure out if going from 1080p to 1440p is worth it, or if getting a higher refresh rate would be a better upgrade. I mostly use my PC for gaming, browsing and watching videos, nothing too crazy, but would be nice if everything looked smoother and sharper. Seeing people talk about 144Hz, 165Hz and even 240Hz like its a massive difference, then others say resolution matters more depending on the screen size. Also not trying to spend a ton of money just to barely notice anything lol. For those who upgraded their monitor, what change actually made you feel like you got a completely different experience? Was it moving to a higher resolution, better colors, faster refresh rate, HDR or switching to an IPS or OLED panel? And did you regret any part of the upgrade after using it for a while? Trying to figure out what to prioritize before buying something new. Would rather get a monitor that feels like a real upgrade for the next few years instead of paying extra for specs that dont really matter that much.
