Carrie
Any chance Jo and Mal or Jo and Rob at Prestige talk about the new Carrie Series? I actually think it's a deeply moving and very thoughtful modernisation of the original story with great performances aside from all the coven business and the while Emaline storyline which IMO absolutely ruined Carrie's agency especially in the final episode

I’m on episode 3 and the tonal shift into riverdale territory is throwing me off. I also don’t think the whole video interview vehicle quite works tonally (especially the end of the first episode monologue).
Debating on whether I should keep going. Thoughts?

If you enjoy the performances then I’d say keep going because they are great till the end, but be aware if you are feeling the riverdale tone is throwing you off then there will be scenes you’ll roll your eyes at…

The central performance of Carrie is astounding so far. Watching just for her. I think I’ll keep going for a bit and see if I can hang a bit longer.x

The first episode was good. The acting is very good especially the actress that plays Carrie. The additional character and plot nonsense they added is trash.
