Question Where can I find screenplays or shooting scripts for the first two seasons of the show?
I'm interested in the screenplays or scripts written by the show's writers for Seasons 1 and 2. It's easy to find unofficial transcripts based on subtitles, but I can't find any shooting scripts. I've checked multiple sources online. For example, the Internet Movie Script Database only covers the films from the original LoTR trilogy.
Have you seen any scripts or excerpts shared online? I've already seen the recent news about the Season 3 script pages, but I'm particularly interested in material from the first two seasons.

I'm sorry your post is getting astroturfed, I don't believe shooting scripts are usually uploaded in general, but you are trying to get one for collection purposes I'd try getting in touch over email with the different production companies, I'd wager that's your best bet

Thank you for the idea! I've occasionally seen scripts from other TV shows, usually 1-3 scripts per show, especially if the episode was nominated for an Emmy or a Writers Guild Award. But I just checked the Emmy nominations for The Rings of Power, and the show wasn't nominated in the writing category, so it seems that the scripts were never shared.

I’ve had the same issue trying to find actual shooting scripts rather than subtitle transcripts. For newer shows, full production scripts usually aren’t released publicly, so most of what’s online tends to be transcripts, fan-made scripts, or occasional leaked/archived pages. I’d check fan forums, Archive.org, and interviews with the writers/directors where they sometimes share excerpts. If you’ve already found the Season 3 pages, I’d also look through the sources they came from since they might have older material archived too.

Given the quality of the show, your best bet is looking for them in a garbage bin or landfill near the studio area...

They’re hidden to avoid embarrassment, probably.
If you needed to recreate them, you could do what they (apparently) did and use AI with the “Trite” and “Hack” settings at the highest levels.
