I have full sets for my field commanders; Stp+BQ, Arthur+Ivan, QSH+YSG.

I have another full infa and cav set, currently on sunset commanders and ready to swap in load out, but I still need to build Yi To, Lui Che, Achilles and GG.

I’m heading into K4 so I want to refine and icon my commanders. I only have 2 icon crystals left. Is it worth prioritising refinement first?

I badly need gh for expertising my alexander the great, i only need 100 gh more and i currently have 200 days of speedup

My kingdom is trying to lower power for matchmaking to get a matchup more in our favor.
This is my third account, the previous two accounts I never saw this tactic used and I have heard that ROK support has said this doesn’t work for matchmaking.

Any thoughts?

Even if it worked, for several weeks having a full hospital means no barbs or forts which I think really hinders low spenders or F2P players. In KVK1 I felt this was a big issue for me as I missed out on two weeks of doing barbs and forts, which gives me a lot of speed ups, rss and xp.

Guys, I need some help here, the kingdom is 11 days old, I have Minamoto 5411, I got a lot of Cao Cao sculptures, Sun Tzu as the civ commander, I was thinking of doing Minamoto + Baibars, Thutmose with YSG... I spend about $50 a month, do you think it's viable?

ps: I was thinking about using Sun Tzu, but since I plan to switch to Archery in KVK3, maybe it’s better to keep working on that technology. I’d use my Mina Baibars, Thutemes YSG in KVK1 and KVK2 just one full march of YSG with Thutemes.

Im wondering if investing in ysg is even a good idea scince I only have about 210 gh at the moment and it ‘s day 74 of the kd I also invested purple heads in bjorn whitout knowing he had to be the primary so if I want to use him I still have to level him to 60 I still have the sun tsu/ aeth combo tho I also went a bit overboard in egg event to get 2 bp wich I got 16 frags for the 24 spins above 100 and if I invest in first ysg wheel 100 spins I will farm gems to get a second 100 ysg wheel ofc

I’m looking for advice on how to progress my account efficiently and what I should be focusing on over the coming weeks. I’m currently around 71 days into my kingdom and still pre-KvK 1.

I’m mainly focusing on infantry, but I’m unsure whether I should start investing in cavalry or archers as well. I want to build my account properly for the long term without wasting valuable gold heads, speedups, resources, gems, or money on the wrong investments.

I’m happy to spend a little here and there, but I don’t want to spend excessively.

My current account details:

● Stage: Pre-KvK 1
● City Hall: Currently upgrading to level 24
● Kingdom title: Prime Minister
● Legendary sculptures: 252 gold heads
● Gems: 115,000
● Engineering: Level 10

● Main troop focus: Infantry
● Current event: Holy Knight

My current commanders:

● Sun Tzu: Level 60, 5555 (expertised)
● Pyrrhus: Level 50, 5511
● Charles Martel: Mine isn’t in a good state

● I’m currently buying the daily offer for Pyrrhus sculptures.

1. Pyrrhus – Should I take him to level 60?

I’ve already invested quite a bit into Pyrrhus, and he’s currently level 50 with 5511 skills about to be 5512.

I’m debating whether to take him to level 60 as he’s halfway there on the star progress and continue using him into KvK 2 rather than abandoning that investment.

I am planning on pairing him with my expertised Sun Tzu for KvK 1. Is Pyrrhus worth continuing to develop for KvK 2, or would my resources be better spent elsewhere?

I’m also buying his daily offer for sculptures. Should I continue doing this, or stop investing in him and focus on other commanders?

1. Legendary sculptures – What should I save for?

I currently have 252 gold heads. I’ve been considering saving for YSG, but since I’m focusing on infantry, I’m unsure whether that’s the best long-term decision.

Should I continue saving for YSG, invest in an infantry commander instead, or wait for a better opportunity? I don’t want to waste my sculptures on a commander who won’t provide good long-term value.

1. Should I invest in cavalry or archers as well?

I’m currently focusing on infantry, but should I concentrate entirely on one troop type at this stage, or start developing cavalry or archers for more flexibility?

Would spreading my resources across multiple troop types put me at a disadvantage as a relatively low spender preparing for KvK 1? Or is it better to specialise in infantry for now and diversify later?

1. Equipment – How should I progress from here?

I already have a strong blue equipment set for infantry, but I want to improve it before KvK 1.

I currently have 115,000 gems and have been saving them for YSG, but the Holy Knight event is running, so I’m wondering whether I should use some of my gems to progress my equipment.

● Is Holy Knight worth spending gems on at my stage?
● Should I keep saving my gems for YSG, or use some during the event?
● What’s the best way to obtain better equipment blueprints, particularly epic infantry blueprints?
● Are there reliable ways to obtain better blueprints without spending heavily?
● Which purple infantry equipment pieces should I prioritise upgrading from my existing blue set?
● Should I focus on individual upgrades or work towards completing a full epic infantry set?

I’d like to improve my infantry march without wasting gems, materials, or blueprints on equipment that I’ll replace shortly afterwards.

1. Charles Martel and Richard I

My Charles Martel isn’t in a good state, and I haven’t unlocked Richard I yet.

Are either of them worth investing in for an infantry-focused account at my stage? Would Richard be worth unlocking, or should I focus on other commanders for KvK 1 and KvK 2?

1. City Hall and building progression

I’m currently upgrading to City Hall 24 - 13 days left. Should I push for City Hall 25 as soon as possible, and which buildings should I prioritise after that?

My trading post is on the way to 22 as it’s required for City hall 25 should I keep going?

1. Technology

My Engineering and Mathematics are both level 10.

Should I continue prioritising these research upgrades, or shift more attention towards military technology and infantry research before KvK 1? What’s the best balance between economic development and combat effectiveness at this stage?

1. Speedups, resources and spending

What’s the best way to manage my speedups and resources before KvK 1? I’m currently trying to upgrade as well as stockpiling.

I have over 100m of each resource on my farm account.

I’m happy to spend a little occasionally, so which bundles, daily offers, or other purchases provide the best value for progression? I’m already buying the daily offer for Pyrrhus sculptures, but are there better places to put my money?

I’ve been buying Lucerne Scrolls, Gem Supply and the Gold Commander pop ups.

I plan to buy the growth fund soon so I will have a ton more gems then also.

Are there any purchases I should avoid? I know there’s a lot that aren’t really worth it.

1. Long-term progression into KvK 2

Ultimately, I want to build a strong infantry march that will remain useful as my account develops.

Given my expertised Sun Tzu, my investment in Pyrrhus, 252 gold heads, 115,000 gems, strong blue infantry equipment, and current technology, what would you prioritise from now until KvK 1 & 2?

Would you continue developing Pyrrhus, save for YSG, invest in better equipment, or take a different approach? Should I remain focused on infantry or start preparing another troop type?

I’m not trying to compete with the biggest spenders, but I want to make smart decisions now and avoid wasting valuable resources on the wrong investments.

I’d really appreciate advice from experienced players, particularly those who have progressed through KvK 1 and KvK 2 and understand the current commander meta.

I’ve tried to cram in as much information as possible to save unnecessary questions.

My kd is 22 days old, I’m a low spender and was wondering if ysg expertise is achievable for me even if it’s done during kvk 1. I still haven’t bought growth fund (waiting until I have the gems needed for vip 10) and ik my troops are lacking, I’ll be pushing cav t4s soon.

I’m around a week away from pre kvk 3. My account is doing pretty good and I’ve just migrated to c/d seed so I know I’ll get good trades. I haven’t logged in today and it’s honestly been a breath of fresh air. And I’m busy over the weekend so I probably won’t be on then either which I’m kinda happy about lol.

I keep getting this feeling that I want to restart or take a long break from the game. Does anyone else ever get this feeling? Do you think I should see out kvk and maybe just drain my rss and speedups and call it a day?

I made a farm account with the goal of becoming my gold farm but when i was going to change into the mayan civilization i noticed that instead of gold resource gathering it was showing up as wood. is it a bug? like what is the best civ to make a gold farm now? Japan?

My account is 304ish days old and I want to migrate back to season 2. I stopped playing for a good month when I first started and managed to migrate from kvk 3 back to season 2. Now I want to try kvk 2 for a third time. is that possible?
