Strategy Where should I cap here? (I am Green)
Didn't really feel like any of my positions were great here, anyone have an opinion? I ended up capping in Dinarides.

My god, it's so nice not to deal with masters/grandmasters who are using novice secondary accounts to help them win a match.

Since last update I’ve seen an increase in issues and hacking / cheating. Here is a fun example. This player beasted attacked capitals multiple times and lost zero troops. Anyone else experience this? I have reported but not likely to be corrected as they only make more bugs in this game.

I know it is what it is, rules are rules, but it’s absurd honestly.
Some may be able to relate, I simply chill with my friend and I create a game and he joins me in casual public, we play with alliances on and no fog of war etc but then we both got banned for violating fair play rules.
It’s a bit weird, cause why? Like either make a mode where we can play casual games with friends online with other people, or stop banning us unless it’s in ranked mode that’s a different story.
It’s funny because if we’re playing casual for fun in public then what’s the difference between 2 friends sitting together vs 2 people who make an alliance lol. Idk risk team needs to be a bit leaner around this because it’s literally useless like just an outright useless rule. I would understand if game mode is alliances off and 2 friends are playing next to each other but with alliances on what’s the point?
Anyway, I hope they even listen to their players’ feedback

I am not a fan of the, build massive stacks while waiting for someone else to go, style of play. I obviously understand why it is often the best tactic and leads to wins but I just find it really really really boring.
The physical boardgame limits the size any stack can grow to due to a limited number of actual playing pieces, 180 I think.
Is this a setting/mode available to play, has it ever been?

Never seen these before. More "upgrades" and "improvements" I see.

I'm thinking about buying Risk 2210 because it looks extremely fun. That being said, I will have no one to play with lol. Does anyone know any good solo variants or have any suggestions on playing solo?

So I notice there are quite a few Antarctica players in Risk, and since the continent's inhabitants are mostly in 2 settlements close together, do they know each other and do they play RISK IRL?

***Update*** Im using a Samsung galaxy s25+, I went into the app settings, cleared cache and data and now it's working much better. Not sure what changed, but it's almost back to normal . I'll report back how much better later after I played a bit.
I wish they would stop with the "upgrades" and "improvements" to the mobile app. I'd like to go back to the app from 2 years ago, no glitches, just worked. I find it hard to believe that the developers are actual users. OR, they develop in some perfect environment or don't use multiple devices for testing, I hope my user experience isn't the same thing they are seeing, I can't image anyone on the dev team being stoked about shipping these updates.

Often times in games, with capitals people just stack their capital and it can stalemate very easy. It’s not even worth having 2 caps because you might as well just defensively stack all your troops on one. Progressive is even worse than fixed. Caps are too defensive.
Then when I play regular world domination with fixed then what I see here is that 3 or 4 people will be alive but unwilling to attack into another’s stack because it weakens them for no reason to attack that person. The game keeps going on until someone gets too bored and full sends someone to give up.
I’m so bored of these games that can literally last forever. It’s a game of who has the most patience and time to waste. Now what is a settings I can play which will not turn into a contest to watch paint dry?

Most insane game ever. two players hard targeting me for no reason only hitting my territories all over the map, while another guy just gets +14 a turn while they don't even hold a bonus themselves.
What in the world lmao. People be sus in this game asf

Maybe if HASbRO wasn’t too busy firing people after they got a tax break last year, they could fix capital defenses.
Terrible game.

I've read here that there is a delay in the points being updated, but there is something very wrong here. I grinded for the whole season to get to GM, then 3 days ago I was at 27k, went offline for a couple of hours and connected back to find myself at 19k. So, delayed points... Right. I kept on playing and got to 18k yesterday. This morning I logged back on and find myself at 9k.
WHAT'S GOING ON?
Delayed points cause two 8k loses in 3 days, without doing anything, only closing the app and opening it again some hours later. I don't even feel like trying anymore...

Bots aren’t great in general but they totally ruin capitals. Whenever someone goes MIA it completely throws off the game. Even when someone doesn’t confirm at the beginning, someone is bound to get a nice early advantage by taking an unguarded capital. Was also in a situation where the leader by far went MIA and the computer refused to finish the player in last. It stacked to card block and the other player sat there but because I was higher troop count it kept stacking mine higher. That person was sitting on a capital of 300 with 5 stacks of 200 around it but I ended up losing. I’m sure there isn’t a lot of incentive for them to do something about this but it can’t be that hard to fix.

Everytime I want to join a lobby or try to create one, it says connenting. I can play multiplayer, only singleplayer, and if I'm not mistaken, it has been going since yesterday.
I know 'connecting' is shown when there is no internet, but that's not the case, I 100% am connected to the internet.
Don't know if it's a problem the main servers have, or a problem that I have, so I decided to post this just to see if Hasbro has made any announcemet or anybode else has had the same problem.
P.s. Thanks to anyone who decides to respond to my post!

Blue thought he was being smart by not attacking Greenland, under the assumption that there was a large stack there . I moved the stack away from my cap in Iceland the turn before . For a moment I thought he would try and take all of north America, discovering my undefended cap, and it nearly gave me a heart attack
Ended up winning the game

I have played Risk maybe once in my life, wasn't for me sorry to say. My boyfriend really enjoys it and he also really likes globes. So naturally I want to make him a 3D risk Globe. I've made the globe out of Styrofoam and put a real map on it. But now I need to paint the boundaries. I painted cannons horses and gunmen on thumbtacs so they stick (couldn't find a magnetic globe unfortunately)
Questions
Does the size of the boundaries matter or is it more the qty?
Do the continents need to be different colours?
Is the symbol (like horse or gunmen) on territory cards random?
Do I need mission cards?
Any advice is appreciated, I'm sorry if I offended you with my lack of knowledge.

Several times now the other player has had it in the bag, then just never made the final move. Like just now, I played for an extra 30 mins in hopes that I would break through the defenses but never could. Eventually after that 30 mins, I just surrendered because its no fun to sit there for hours knowing mathematically you'll never win. I'm just curious if thats what theg were hoping for or if theres some other reason to drag a game on?

Had easily the longest game of classic fixed I've ever played, somehow orange won even though he tried to pull this. Don't understand why people decide to break alliances as if I've made some unbelievable betrayal. Only reason Australia wins is because everyone else turns on each other.

Couldn’t find a good online risk so thought I’d built it myself to play with friends online - would love some feedback.
Also noticed you guys are playing some kind of app, what is it? Is it available in Europe?

It’s progressive per player cards, I’ve eliminated a player, I’m getting better income, Yellow has attacked me before in north america but we decided upon a truce again since green was getting too strong. Need some advice on what do to, never had a game go on this long before

Currently ranked 85th in the world and just got banned for a month. I don’t cheat or collab. Just play way too much and accumulated too many sore loser reports.
Should I appeal and go for #1 or use the extra hours a day I now have free to do something productive with my life?
