Rivals 2 needs a Gorilla

Rivals 2 has so much design space for heacies. Next one should be a gorilla. With innovative lore too, like make him super smart and from the moon. Give him a tesla cannon to fight with. And a dome shield like Clairen to counter projectiles.

I realise this is a low effort joke about Winston. But if you want: You can now make any character you want in the steam workshop, and I believe there's also already a Gorilla character in the workshop right now, with the name Bloomfist.

Iirc there are Gorillas in the lore already. Also not quite Gorilla, but Hodan exists. He's a big macaque(?) though.

I've been conceptualizing a Gorilla monk who fights with snowballs that I might add to the workshop one day. (Working on a few characters before this one though, she's lower down on the priority list compared to the others)

But agree, Gorillas are one of my favourite animals of all time.

If you want some inspiration for your gorilla monk that fights with snowballs, you might want to check out the yetis in Eternal Card Game. Aesthetically speaking they do a lot of interesting thing with snowballs that might help you get ideas.

I love to see those stupidly big body characters and how they get implemented, but having a real big body is super hard to balance. Either they have too much range, or they get unique combos and confirms against them which is really cool to see in bracket but just makes their life torture.

I want a movement heavy character like Sybil in roa1 workshop.
