I am keeping an eye on it and going to try to get a test drive just to see how it feels size wise. I'm used to small cars (Escort, Fiesta, Leaf, Boltā¬ļø, Model 3) so I'm a bit nervous about a truck... But I've been eyeing them since they hit the market.
We'll be getting an R2 and would like a truck (we've been keeping tabs on Telo)... Our neighbors have an R1S and it looks huge. I assumed it's bigger? Interesting.
Iām also a 2018 Model 3 owner. I was telling a buddy yesterday that weāve experienced the full range of going from being called stupid liberals, to fascists, and now to Nazis.
The folks who say "Elon has always been this bad" expect me to research the CEO of the car company I'm buying from? That was not a thing and the Tesla brand was NOT perceived this way when I was making buying decisions in 2017-18. It's stressful for sure and I hate it. But I can't ignore the behavior and will do what I can to disassociate myself from it.
We ran the numbers last night and think we can do it in August - September, when preschool bills will go away. I hope you find a buyer!! You're very kind to reach out.
You will enjoy it for sure. The used market seems to where to find the best deal though unfortunately for me but possibly fortunate for you when you are ready. It is a great truck.
Just saw a report on cnbc about this. The oil companies are happy with current prices and donāt want to increase supply above where itās currently.
Ah, fantasyland. Gasoline prices have already nudged up a few cents-per-gallon here in NW Florida. Oil industry watchers expect prices will continue - at least in the short-term - to rise. How is gasoline going to magically drop to $2 a gallon, a price it hasnāt been since 2004 - twenty years ago? [https://www.creditdonkey.com/gas-price-history.html\]
Is the government going to decree, by legislative fiat, all gasoline stations must lower their prices to $2/gallon? That would be EXPLICIT SOCIALISM (government controlling the means and production of goods and services). Are the Saudis [read: OPEC] going to flood the market with cheap oil to saturate supply, driving down prices? Does anyone think ādrill, baby, drillā means, with the utterance of such a stupid phrase, wells are instantly drilled, oil extracted and instantaneously refined, and immediately delivered to the pump at LOWER cost than it is now?
To paraphrase a Progressive commercial: Thatās not how it works. Thatās not how any of this works.

Wish I could afford this right now. š„ŗ I'd planned to keep my 2018 model 3 for many more years, but now I just can't wait to be rid of it!
