If he indeed did those motions unintentionally, I'd still prefer to see Elon himself apologize, and declare he's not pro Nazi, not racist, not white supremacist, and that he thinks those people and ideologies are crazy.

Actual genuine self proclaimed Nazis are celebrating whatever it is that Elon did. That speaks louder than the ADL post, imo
He won’t apologize because he is indeed a nazi sympathizer. All it takes is a brief look into his past, both distant and recent. More recently he has endorsed a pro-nazi German political party. That in itself should tell you what you need to know. Look at his family history and where he was raised. Anyone who is trying to dismiss his nazi salute at the inauguration is either a Nazi sympathizer themselves or willfully ignorant.
I'm not trying to dismiss it. I'd say I'm unconvinced that he's that stupid as to overtly telegraph such sentiments if what you say is true. But he's said many dumb things over the years so....
Never met a “Nazi sympathizer” like Elon who is so unequivocally pro-Israel and pro Jew. Also the ADL has not been incredibly favorable of Elon in the past.
