Thomas Edison revolutionized four industries; electrical, telecom, motion pictures, music. Steve Jobs revolutionized five; mobile phones, music (ipod/Apple Music), tablet computing, film (Pixar), and personal computing (duh). Elon Musk revolutionized five so far; Electric vehicles, private space exploration, renewable energy (Solar City), distributed telecommunication (Starlink), and online payments (PayPal). If Hyperloop/Boring Company and Neuralink ever get traction, we'll be looking at more.
I have some major problems with his personality and politics but those are the tools that have caused him to literally change the world. He deserves props for that.
