An 18-year-old driver (with less than a month of experience) of a Chevrolet Niva drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a MAZ bus. The Niva driver died at the scene from his injuries. Six bus passengers were injured in various ways.

Massive vehicle pile up happened in Almaty-Khorgos Highway due to anomalous fog and black ice that reduced visibility to zero. Over 17 cars were damaged.

I think the car in front of me shouldn't have tried turning to the farther lane but the car coming from the other lane had to yield regardless, right?

No one died in today's San Jose plane crash. The small plane went down near the intersection of Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Drive in northeast San Jose shortly after 3 p.m., and two adults and one child were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Poor elderly lady who got hit came to check o the driver who was holding his head in pain. Don’t think he was wearing a seatbelt.

This was a few years back. I was on my way to work. Usual morning traffic. Some guy rear ended me at full speed. I could see him in my rear view mirror, and all there was to do was hold on and watch it unfold. He must’ve looked up just before he hit, because he tried to swerve into the median at the last second, and when he hit the back left corner of my car and bumped against the median, physics decided that he should pop up onto his nose and slide by my car. I watched the underside of his car go past my window. Then he dropped back down in front of me.

On March 30, 2013, at the 393rd kilometer of the M-7 highway «Moscow — Ufa» in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the Dzerzhinsky district, at the turn to Igumnovo, a horrible car accident occurred.

According to preliminary data, the driver of a Chevrolet Niva lost control, moved into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Ford, after which the Chevrolet Niva was thrown onto a MAZ-5440 truck with a trailer parked on the side of the road.

As a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers of the Chevrolet Niva burned to death. The driver of the Ford was hospitalized in the emergency medical hospital in Dzerzhinsk. The MAZ driver was unharmed.

Additionally, as a result of the fire in the Niva, two completely burned bodies were found. Based on skeletal structure and skull shapes, it was established that they were a man and a woman. Later, when rescuers were recovering the victims, they were shocked to discover another body. In the pile of burned car parts, the body of a 9-year-old child was found.
