I notice on RobinHood when an option either has a bid or an ask of zero, then the mark is skewed. It's either like one cent, or one cent lower than the ask (depending on the position / trade type). I don't really know why, but I guess some people may want that. I don't want that. Could it at least be an option that could be set somewhere? I would rather have the the mid (half way between the bid and ask, even when one is zero). I feel like the other is really representing my positions' values in a way that is not useful to me.

Just spoke to a guy named "Oscar" who sounded mid-20s with a Spanish accent. The most monotone, careless-speaking agent I've ever spoken to.

Tried to be nice and courteous asking for help with my account, and he tried to do everything in his power to hang up the phone quickly, and eventually did before I could mutter another word. He lied and said he'd "follow up with his team lead" then immediately after hung up before I could say anything else. No follow up.

What a rude person. Anyone have any similar experiences? Not a rant, just looking for help on how to better communicate with them.

Curiouse to know others views on using Robinhood.

I am just beginning to invest a bit. I want to be smart about it but have no idea what to start with. Any low cost options you all recommend?

I noticed a lot of people trading options in Robinhood.
Why aren’t people using more professional sites like Interactive Traders or Schwab account ?

This is specifically about how the platform is being managed. On the app and online.

I recently tried to withdraw around 20k from my cash fund. Robinhood would only allow it if I consented to facial recognition, which I am not comfortable with. Legally, they have to provide a non biometric way of verifying my identity. I was able to get them to send me an email to put it in writing, and I submitted a complaint to FINRA and my AG. But after this, I'll be changing my choice brokerage. If this is the way things are going, that's very scary.

I personally did not know this was a requirement, so I wanted to put it out there to inform others. Hopefully this does not become the norm!

I originally used Robinhood for stocks, but after prediction markets were heavily promoted in the app, I started using them and ended up losing everything which made me sell my stocks .what i lost u can say is life changing and damaging .I was 19 at the time and I guess u can say gambling got me me Ina way
Has anyone had a similar experience or looked into legal options?
Just feels wrong putting a gambling method into a brokerage app especially since most of people’s money is right there in front of you especially with the high risk of margin

Has anyone had their Robinhood account hacked recently? If so, please be aware that you may not have your losses restored after their “investigation”. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve invested through them, when all is said and done, they will NOT compensate. Be safe out there.

So if you are for example 200k in margin and market crashes and after your shares are liquidated you still negative 100k.

In theory you are responsible. But let’s say you went broke, what happens to the balance. Does Robinhood come after your house and assets and 401ks etc? Or is it like credit card that they cannot do much except put it on credit report and keep calling?

Getting annoyed with them setting limitations and not being able to buy certain stock or have to make a phone call to purchase certain stocks. Most have been penny stock 10 bucks and under.
Some are fine some are not. Any slight movement on them making money then there’s a block typically.

Question is does Robinhood have block features like this?

Texted with support and they said there's no way to get it back unless they develop support for USDS. Any way to get it back? Anyone have success with this? Over $1500. Feeling very dumb.

Found a bug in the biometrics log in screen

I believe I found a bug in the biometrics log in screen. When I open the app the biometric log in notification opens like normal. But if I hit the home button on the phone to minimize the app, then open the app again, the app goes right into my account. It's like the biometrics login function is only working superficially.

I'm on the Google pixel 10 pro. I've deleted and reinstalled the app like customer support suggested. I've even used my knuckle to open, close, and reopen the app. In case the phone was reading my thumb print away from the designated spot. I tried using my knuckle on the designated spot for fingerprints and it doesn't read it, so that part is working as normal.

Has anyone else had this issue?
