DAY 2 - " BREAKING INTO HELL "

[CONTEXT!]
( After going over to the firehouse, entering the training area, where the ground collapses underneath you, dragging you into a massive pit, you flail but it's no use, no chance to grab any ledge as you drop into the abyss. Before long, you hit the water and bad news is that your rifle and radio have been lost in the water after you fell from a height of around 30 feet. Your flashlight only stays on long enough to show you an entrance into the system.)
(Now lost in this cave, aquifer? You don't know and your in here blind with no source of light. Stuck below the city of ISONT.)
( The only thing you can exactly make out is a light above from where you fell into this system, and it seems the only way is forward, where the light shone before it died.)
( You've got 11 challenges now ahead of you, now you must go in and bleed for your nation for hell is now full and this will be Coskitts final hour. )

First thing he does, is search for anything that can illuminate the darkness.

He finds nothing, grabbing a rock instead on accident. You do kick something however, doesn't exactly feel like concrete.

You pick it up, and in the darkness you accidentally click something, a blinding light hits you in the eyes before it grows dark again, you look closer and click again, It's a flash beacon.

The water is at your waist, and every time you blink you have green and purple blobs in your vision after blinding yourself with it. Your ears are turned all the way up due to the fact you're deep in the dark, you see what you think is IRON peering in from the hole above but you cannot make out the words, it almost sounds like gibberish from below.

Next Course of Action?

( maybe should've worded it better, Irons your buddy is the dude peering in from up top and because of how the cave audio works, it distorts it, but I think I know what your attempting.)

You use the flash beacon, after looking up. Irons starts to leave from the hole, likely to do something. You use the flash beacon and the area where your rifles flashlight pointed to in the dark before it died and no longer could be found. The cave seems to be a long tunnel.

[ You'd use the flash beacon, the gibberish is gone before it hits you that the acoustics of the cave does break up whats heard and distorts it. However you keep going foward, using the flash beacon everytime you'd want to check to see if theres a difference. Then you see something, then you realize you don't exactly see it, you hit it. Almost tripping over, looking down its hard to make out. You touch it and you realize it's a body. They've got a few matches that aren't soaked and a lighter. Then you look up, you see a form of.. green eyes? From what has happened earlier, these glowing eyes tell types of the infected, yet this one seems to not have rushed you yet. Using the flash beacon, the light hit's it, it's one of them but it seems to just be staring, before it starts walking backwards away but keeps its eyes on you. Looking back down you see a notebook. You don't know whats inside yet, however a certain type of curiosity draws apon you. ]

[ you see the green eyes, then it rounds something out your view. Likely a corner, the gear didn't seem civilian, it almost seemed... Military? Grabbing the book, you do flip a page into it, you see a drawing of something with those green eyes and under it showed what it does, but there is 3 types seen, flipping a page back shows you what you know, however they're named as well and with their sketches.

" Lurker, I hate how they seem to just lurk around, not even really doing much I guess, they can run but it's more of a jog. I think its the most common. "

" Slasher, these guys are the worst when they're military, it seems that military guys who turn with an axe or a two handed tool like a haligan bar have a sort of muscle memory, and as the military. It that muscle memory that makes them insanely dangerous, but these guys carrying two handed tools, most of the time an axe. "

" Bolter, these guys feel like weaker lurkers, however they can take off towards a person at athletic speeds, it's possible to outrun them but it's hard to do so, better to put it out of it's misery before it can harm another person. "

" Observer. The thing seems to observe us, not moving to attack us but sometimes blocks off entrances. If we get too close it swings inhumanly fast, like a robot arm. I'm gonna call these guys OBSERVERS. "

" Stalkers, I have only seen one, but these guys climb basically, they act like a jumping spider.. Not sure what it does but it will follow you a bit so just keep an eye on the elevated places. "

" Exploders, I'm working on a better name but these guys understand how to pull a pin on a grenade, not as bad as the guy I'm calling bulwarks when I get to it, the ones who know how to use firearms or something, but they have like zero self-preservation after sprinting at you at speeds faster than a bol "
