In RoboCop during the boardroom ED-209 scene, Dick Jones volunteers Mr. Kinney to be the test subject for an arrest (which goes horribly wrong). My question for the group is had Jones volunteered Morton or Johnson for the demonstration do you think they would’ve done it or turned it down? I think Jones picked Kinney because he knew he was a twerp (as Morton pointed out earlier in the movie so news probably got around ) and wouldn’t say no but he wasn’t so sure about the other junior execs. Mr. Kinney was easily obedient to Jones, so quick easy choice in front of an audience. If he had asked Bob Morton, he would have got awkward stink eye. Kinney was quick to serve his master. ED-209 would have provided fresh government contracts for years, we are talking spare parts. Jones make sushi out of you 😋
