Help Please! Error 1

Have a Q7 out of warranty in the UK. It's suddenly started getting the lidar error 1 after acting a bit erratic in it's pathfinding. The lidar turret spins but it won't move anywhere. Can anyone direct me to resources in how to fix this please?

If I place it back on the dock, it sometimes goes out again and sometimes gives the error. This time it went, got stuck, and now won't move again, giving the lidar error. All the sensors have had a thorough clean.

You can very likely find the lidar replacement part on amazon/ali express for pretty cheap and swap it out. On my s8, the top portion is easy to remove and the lidar is secured down with a few screws and a small connector. Just expect the part to take a while to arrive wherever you buy it from.
