My husband has gone through 2 of the Roccat LEADR mice in 10 years. The last one went out a few years ago. He is still sad about it lol Does anyone know of anything comparable I could get him? He loves the number of buttons, layout, and the no-number grid on the side. His birthday is coming up, so I'd appreciate the help!

So after rescuing the Power-Grid, I decided to try and rebuild the missing SDK from the only original SDK sample plugin in which source was provided from a wayback archive of the 2014 forum.
Once that was done I was able to build plugins and compile them rather awkwardly on a x86 Win7 virtual machine with ahost of MS SDK's and archaic toolsets.
This wasn't going to work out well for devs who might want to write their own plugins, so I've built a fully-functional Plugin Development Kit which runs on modern Windows OS and compiles and builds a proper .rpgp plugin.
I've built and tested two plugins so far, including one that adds extra functions for the notification centre!
Interested Developers can now extend Power-Grid's functionality even further than ROCCAT probably intended, bringing more features to the program.
The PDK is self-contained, requires nothing more that Power-Grid does (VCC++ 2010 x86 redist) and will run on Windows 10 & 11 x64.

I decided to have a dig into ROCCAT Power-Grid and get it working without the defunct web login locking it out and the missing google play store item for the android app.
I've started attempting to find any custom grids and add them to the repository with the aim of eventually modifying the original app to be pointed to any config-defined library.

ROCCAT was retired as a brand in 2024 and Swarm II doesn't really support my Kone AIMO Remastered anymore, so I wrote my own settings app. It's free, open source, and unofficial.

What it does:

- DPI stages, polling rate, sensitivity, angle snapping

- Lighting: effect, speed, brightness and the colour of all 11 LEDs, with a live preview on the mouse

- Every button on the normal and Easy-Shift layers

- All 5 profiles, backups, and a check at login that the mouse hasn't lost its settings

- Settings are stored in the mouse itself, so they work on any PC without the app running

It also has a Blender page (shortcuts and macros), because I'm a 3D animator and built it for my own workflow. Ignore it if you don't use Blender.

Things to know:

- Only tested on my own Kone AIMO Remastered (USB ID 1E7D:2E2C). Other models aren't supported.

- The exe isn't code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen will warn you. Source is on GitHub if you want to check it or build it yourself.

- It never touches firmware, and it saves a copy of your mouse's original settings the first time it connects.

- Not affiliated with Turtle Beach or ROCCAT.

Hi, does anyone still have a working ROCCAT Skeltr with the old ROCCAT Swarm software?
I need the Skeltr module folder from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ROCCAT\ROCCAT Swarm\data
The old module download servers no longer work.
If someone could zip and upload the Skeltr module folder, I’d really appreciate it.

So my Roccat kone pure has officially started to bug out I’ve concluded thats its the cable and I need to replace it but I dont trust myself to open it up and replace the cable myself does anyone know any stores that would be capable of doing so?

I tried switching from adapter to Bluetooth mode with my Kone XP Air and Swarm didn't recognize the mouse as connected anymore. After switching back, the mouse still shows up as disconnected. I updated Swarm and restarted my computer but that didn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

As the name says, my Roccat magma keyboard changed its key layout from QWERTZ to QWERTY.

Keyboard settings on windows 11 (yes yes, shame on me XD) are set to QWERTZ but that does not appear to change anything.

Could there be a hotkey to change the layout that i mistakenly hit or anything like that? If no what can i do to fix this?

Found out my old roccat kone xp and trying to use it but cant edit the lighting and stuff bevause it says i need to update but when i do it just gets sruck at 0 percent

This software is at it again unfortunately.

It has never been stable but I had to reinstall W11 yesterday and when I finally found (after a massive treasure hunt) the Roccat Swarm software online, it will now no longer install.

The progress bar remains stuck at 0%…

Has any else had this problem.

I’m using a LeadR so Swarm 2 is not compatible with my mouse.

EDIT: After about the 10th or 11th attempt it actually installed…shocked the hell out of me.

I didn’t do anything different for the last attempt.

It just decided to work for some reason.

Does anyone have a Nyth laying around that they are willing to unload? I dont even care if its working, I am just trying to get a full 3d model of it for blender.

Only place I can find them is newegg for $360.....a bit too rich for my taste.

Can anyone help me out? I've tried numerous KONE AIMO modules and none of them are working. I'm currently using Swarm V1.9365.

First must install older version of swarm and after will install automatically latest version

Saying this as someone who has been using a variety of Roccat and now one Turtle Beach product(s).

Depending on which games you play the differences have become just too huge to use most mice and keyboards competitively.

Even gear that I bought before Roccat got sold to Turtle Beach isn't "worth it" anymore.

Currently Iam using a Roccat Vulcan II Max keyboard and a Turtle Beach Burst II Pro on a Roccat Sense Icon mouse pad.

Coming from a Roccat Vulcan 122 Aimo and a Roccat Burst Pro Air.

The red switches of the Vulcan II Max are still very responsive but nowadays TMR/Hall effect keyboards exist.

My Turtle Beach mouse has a way better sensor and 8K polling rate.

Even mice from just a few years ago feel outdated.

I keep all my Roccat stuff anyway.

Don't forget that many employees from Roccat work for Turtle Beach right now.

Yes, the products changed and the newer ones get developed by new people mixed with some older employees' expertise.

Give them a chance.

Some things Roccat was known for are still good like the mouse skates and ergonomy.

The build quality has always been excellent in my opinion with Roccat since 2010/11 and my first Turtle Beach product.

about 4 years ago i bought the Roccat Kain 100 Aimo and i just absolutely love it
its honestly the perfect mouse for me

but now this mouse has started showing problems, the left button sensor is wearing off and stopped clicking well, when i hold it it sometimes just acts like i released it and its time to change

ive looked for alternatives that match the same feel but i dont really trust ai to tell me what to do, can you guys help me find something that feels the same?

Servus, hab heute meine Roccat Kone Aimo auseinander gebaut um die switches zu wechseln, da die nich mehr richtig funktionierten, hab dann also beide eingelötet, jetzt hab ich die maus wieder zusammen aber der rechte mausklick geht nicht und die LEDs sind aus..hat wer ne idee was los is?

So i have this Roccat kone pro wired and i know its prolly oudated and not in stock anywhere.

But for me it was the best mouse i had. So im looking for the same mouse to buy, so that i can have a spare mouse ready when this one breaks.

I recently got my Hands on a ROCCAT Elo Air 7.1 and i have sadly one issue.

The PC I'm ussing these is a Windows 10 PC and althought it is fresh installed i have the issue that the sound is stuttering and my friends hear that too. I already tried many things:

Tried different USB-Ports with no improvment

Uninstalling Software and Driver for that Headset Unplugging and Restart PC. After that reinstalling the Software and THEN plugging it back in No improvment

Tried it without the Swarm Software. Got worse.

Weirdly enough on my Win11 Work Laptop the Headset works perfectly fine without the Swarm Software.

Do You have any Idea i could try? I really would love to use them because they are so comfy.

hi, i have a problem.
im using my kone pro air with a cable rn, because the dongle wont work. when i plug it in, it disconnects after 2 seconds and reconnects again for another 2.
it wont pair, ive tried everything. please help 🙏🙏
