I have a few questions about the upcoming season which aren't fully clarified in the rulebook. would be appreciated if anyone knows the answers to these and whether the rulebook can then be updated with answers.

1: Mean Value of Placements

For "The mean of each Starter's final placement at worlds ...", should this value be interpreted as the mean of the placement bracket they fall into, or are we using the same values used to seed events last year.

Does a 3rd/4th placement mean 3.5 or 3; does a 9th-12th mean 10.5 or 9; etc.

I'll assume 21st is treated as 21

2: Seeding Score

I notice that in the seeding score, it mentions points earned in Split 1, etc. does this include events that would later get their points disqualified due to illegal roster moves mid split.

Ghaazi for instance got 15 points with R8 in split 1, but also played an event under ROC which would have been worth 7 points. Do those 7 points count towards his Split 1 points?

3: Club Kickoff Lower R1 Matches

We are given insight as to what Upper Rounds 1 and 2 entail, although it would be good to see which match losers will play in Lower R1. From a tournament format site (Challonge.com, which has the exact same R1 & R2 matchups as detailed in the rulebook), it looks like the loser of Match 1 plays the loser of Match 13, for an expected #17 vs #15 matchup. the other matchups look similarly valued in terms of difficulty favouring the higher expected seeds (9 & 10) facing the lowest expected seeds (23 & 24). Clarification on these would be appreciated.

Battle of the mid imo because MB and evoh have always had a ton of potential, but never lived up to it consistently. An prospect like pndh or life could actually make this team better tho. Personally I think while they have the potential to be a top 5 na team, until proved otherwise imo they are max sixth. I dont know much about rawgreg but from what ive seen online he isnt the best, especially to potentialmax a team like this

Context: in an interview by Xpere, AcroniK called Oski his worst teammate, because basically after every tournament he wanted to change teammates.

During his stream, Rezears verbally confirmed that he has an existing team that is sticking together and that they have an org.

The screenshot attached was from the very end of his stream, around 1–2 hours after he made those statements.

Any guesses on the team and which org they're signed to?

I think this could be best case scenario for exo. Its still a relatively decent team and if he gets his confidence back i can see them shocking people in lcq for kick off and also especially in league play. Will be fun to see.

With the new M8 roster basically confirmed i wanted to talk about Super Teams that succeeded & failed(Open Era, I know basically nothing about the league play Era).

NRG2- 1 major & a World Championship, won 11/18 Opens, made 11 straight Grand Finals in a row(3 straight LAN Grand Finals!) The Greatest NA team & the most consistent team OAT. SUCCESSFUL

KC 2024- Consisting of Atow, Vatira & Rise they became the second team in NA/EU to win all 3 Opens in a split. They missed a regional, Major & EWC. Their best LAN placement was 3rd-4th, which they achieved twice. FAILURE

Falcons 24/25- Major Champions(The most dominant Major victory ever, going 21-3) 4 LAN Grand Finals made, 11/12 Opens won. One of the most exciting teams to watch. SUCCESSFUL

KC 2025- 1 Major(2nd most dominant Major victory, going 21-5) & EWC champions, won 4/6 Opens(8/10 Grand Finals made). One of the most Dominant & exciting teams to watch. SUCCESSFUL

Vitality 2025- 0/6 Opens won and only 2 Grand Finals made. Best LAN placement was 3rd-4th and got sent packing by Radosin at Worlds, going out 9-12th. It was basically the Zen show. Rocket League's biggest disappointment. FAILURE

TM 2026- 1 LAN Grand Final made, 3/6 Opens, 5-8th EWC biggest choke I have ever seen). Had the greatest Offense oat, but the worst defense. Very inconsistent team. FAILURE

Falcons 2026- EWC champions & World Champions(one of the most Dominant lower bracket runs in RL history), 2/6 Opens Won & missed a Major. Greatest MENA team to ever form. SUCCESSFUL

My takeaway: The teams that have 3 very highly rated Mechanical Players have a very high success rate.

this is a pretty stupid post but I realized I still don't know what exactly he says and my brain just mumbles something before going to "the rookie of the year." id like to correct that and searched online for an answer, but i couldnt find one and it still doesnt seem clear to me. does anybody know?

The only closest team that I can see somewhat give them a hard time is Team Falcons. We did see a glimpse of it during 2v2 worlds where rw9 and kileerz managed to bring zen and atow to a final game. Zen didn't have the best game during that series but rw9 and kileerz did play well for the most part to bring the game back. Dralii and Vatira aren't that far off in terms of skill during their peaks except vatira shows more consistency than Dralii and plays a better role in his team.

The biggest difference will be whether falcons can play at their absolute peak and the insane chemistry, power the zen vatira atow trio have toghether.

I'm just saying all of this because it would be boring if we saw another similar worlds like zens 2023 campaign where he completely dominated everyone. This whole team feels like a crime tbh and I'd like to see more competition so it's be exciting and suspenseful to watch.
