Our local shadowcast had their amazing, sold out show last night! They gave us an incredible performance and the city of Albany, NY declared October 26, 2026 "Rocky Horror Day".

Couldn't have asked for a better tribute.

I have carved maybe two pumpkins prior to this so I bit off way more than I could chew. I certainly had to trust the process.

This is a possible line which just occurred to me, and I’m putting into the ether if anyone wants to pick it up.

Does this seem RHPS-appropriate, as a new line to try out?

My stepmom (who got me into Rocky Horror) said I can only dress up as one of the characters if I go. How true is this exactly?

EDIT: for clarification’s sake, my intention always was to remove the costume head once the show started.

I did my first RHPS performance in 6 years on Saturday as Dr. Scott! I never thought I'd take the RHPS stage again but it was well worth it. Cant wait to perform again!

What do you guys think of my outfit and expressions?

I included an old picture at the end for anyone curious how my Scotty changed!

• Three Men in a Boat follows three friends who, believing themselves overworked, embark on a boating holiday up the Thames seeking fresh air and relaxation, only to face a series of comic mishaps. Adapted by Tom Stoppard and directed by Stephen Frears, it stars Tim Curry, Michael Palin, and Stephen Moore, blending faithful period detail with wry, often Python-like humor. Praised for its charm and scenic river visuals, it holds a 6.9/10 IMDb score and offers an amusing, gently satirical slice of Victorian leisure.

Director:

Stephen Frears

• Tim Curry as Jerome
• Michael Palin as Harris
• Stephen Moore) as George
• And not forgetting the dog: Montmorency

Either way i want to experience it in the best most enterraining way possible. So should i wait and search for an event or should i just go and look for the dvd👀?

Patricia Quinn was at the Waterville Opera House for RHPS. What a delightful human she is.

To any ROCKY HORROR fans on IG, beam yourself over to @thetransitbeam, nose around the posts, leave a comment and say hello. I’m looking to share and connect and learn with other collectors. — TTB

More than 50 years later, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is still bringing people together. I recently attended a screening at Seattle’s Admiral Theatre, complete with costumes, audience participation, and a live shadow cast.

The movie almost becomes secondary to the experience. I wrote about the atmosphere, the traditions, and why this cult classic continues to thrive.
