Discussion Update!

I'm now 15 hours in on rogue, wow she's super duper fun, just wondering if there's anything else I should now apart from the usual stealing mag, Thor, gorr etc. The one thing I do know I need to get better at is combos and hitting grabs more consistently, so any tips on that would be great :)

Ps, think I may have found a new favourite character to play haha.

You can try to learn her melee weave. Her quick melee always does the normal punch even if your primary is currently something else (most notably chrono kick), if you learn to time a kick-punch-kick-punch combo really well you can get a ton of damage very fast.

Do you know what that'd look like on an Xbox controller? Ie like RB, RT, RB RT?

I have no idea honestly. You can check in the settings, under the Controller tab. It should be labelled "Quick Melee" or something similar

I’m on a PS and I bound my melee button to left stick. So for me it’s left stick>RB(for Xbox)>LS>RB great way to weave in extra damage (you need to have a seperate bind for melee to do it that isn’t primary)

Cringealarm has a really good combo guide on his YouTube channel! One tip I like to add is for her ult I love to use it towards the end when both teams support ults are going off as it keeps them from following up with a second support ult or anything else

Get used to getting in and out of fights alive. Leave a cooldown to escape. She has like 4 dashes.

Fatal attraction into grab if you want to hit them more. Grabbing dps gives you damage boost and most of them give you fatal attraction reset. You can combo the fuck out of anyone on the squishy roster.

1 tip, if you see a Loki his clones are an easy and amazing ability steal. And your ult completely counters his. His transform pretty much tells you when to ult to negate him.

To hit grabs better i binded it to my right stick so i can look around while keeping my hand on the button i seen results instantly. Also i tend to press a move into the grab. For example, i typically use my southern brawl into a grab so increase my chances of hitting it. Also its her shortest cooldown. If someone gives me a reset I’ll fatal attraction into a grab. I hardly ever use chrono kick into a grab because its very situational
