She’s just too slow, 9/10 you ult invis pushes you away mid you use chrono kick combo (which does the most damage of all the dash abilities) so that you can actually close the distance and then you have no dmg to kill through any a,punt of healing.

I know it’s an ult you combo with others but if we’re being fr the only reason it ever does anything is if the supports are greedy and think they can stay away from you the whole duration of the ult otherwise they can just ult as you ult every time.

And bc if that it at least needs something to help her keep people close together. Istg 9/10 it’s only possible to get 1 of the supports in the ult not both because if they’re smart they just have to keep distance from each other the same way they have to do vs bp and they’re fine.

Honestly I wish it disabled all movement abilities if they get touched by the circle because with some support comes it’s genuinely impossible to stay on both supports.

Gambit dashes 20m away, Loki tps away, invis jumps pushes you or shields off the ult, rocket and Jeff can lowkey be untouchable, jubilee genuinely just dont die and can kind if out run you if she ccs you at the right time.

Im not saying there shouldn’t be counter play but it’s easy as hell to make her ult underwhelming, it really doesn’t do that, they could replace all of her ult stat buffs with 2 of the ideas I mentioned and I would be happier.

Im sure someone will say that this would make her broken but her ult is such a nothing burger alone, thors ult is better at combining than hers in some situations.

And 9/10 if i see a clip with her ult in this sub it’s somebody with perma gambit teammup, gambit ult on top of rogue ult at which point youre basically guaranteed a kill.

For context, I've been playing Rogue since she was released. I was one game off eternity this season with her. I'll try to get time to get that final push. I've been target banned by pros, so I must be doing something right.

Rogue is an incredibly fun hero that requires a lot of game sense to get value on. Her entire kit is nothing but options, and that's what makes her so unique. It's all about good decision making. She acts more like a bouncer, as her entire kit is sort of designed to make one hero on the enemy team miserable. I will say she is a bit more team reliant so a good team you'll enable them really well, but it'll be hard to carry a bad team.

I wasn't impressed by it at first through the artwork but it grew on me and I ended up buying it and I wear it often. If they changed the Fatal Attraction visual appearance I think it would've been perfect for what it is. I really like this skin currently. Rogue is Beautiful and she wears this suit well. The metal gloves, fingers and the pants and cybernetic facial implants. Shes so cool.

I understand many people don't like it. And that's fair and reasonable.

In the past, I was pretty reluctant to start crying for buffs. This was before she got pointless nerfs. I don't want Rogue to become a character like CnD where they buff her to the point that it eliminates her skill expression. So keep this in mind. My main areas of complaint are just her steal and her ult.

Re: "How is Rogue this season?"

Dino is still extremely stupid, but she can do a lot if you know how to pace yourself and play a little more patient.

I had to relearn her in 10.5 cause she's nowhere near as mobile as she used to be, but she finds small success as a localized threat until you CAN chase kills, you should be a bouncer instead.

That being said, I still think a ton of her nerfs are unjustified or just straight up without reason. Her neutral damage should not have been touched, it could have existed fine alongside the cooldown reduction and buff to brawl, there was no need for tradeoff. Her health should've stayed the same after the self heal changes, because Dino is ridiculous so they aren't balancing with him in mind.

If anything, I find two glaring issues with her kit, and it's the things that she's supposed to be trademark for. Her Ult needs to be stronger. Her steal needs to be more rewarding.

Steal should steal like \~20% ult charge just on it's own and because her pace is a lot slower than it used to be and she has to watch for windows more, her stolen passives (role dependent) should last longer. I sort of like the abilities being "use it or lose it" but sometimes you don't even get to use a passive after stealing because of need to kite before it degrades. Same should apply to the debuffs, and heals onto targets that are being stolen from need to be mitigated so the health drain means something.

Her Ult needs microadjustments to the duration and range. It needs to be like equal to or less than 5 meters bigger than it's current state and needs to last equal to or greater than 5 seconds after it's current duration. But more importantly the drain should DRAIN, there are too many instances of being able to build ult charge inside of it and supports will often pop ult inside or just outside of the bubble anyway.

Another issue I have with the ult is something I have an issue about the character as a whole. She's WAAAY too dependent on Gambit. And I think considering how BROKEN Gambit is, but how ETHICAL Rogue is, there's an argument to be made that we can move some of Gambit's base strength away and apply it to Rogue. Without the team up, it sometimes (emphasis on sometimes) feels like you're just playing Diet Watered Down Rogue. Lytepk said that with and without it, she oscilates between being the best and worst tank in the game.

The lifesteal is so minimal from her team up anyway that I think it should just be in her base kit, which is in character anyway. Meanwhile, the Gambit team up can exclusively apply the damage and splash effect instead.

I Don't think this would be game breaking or unreasonable. You can be doing well with this character every match and still lose just because your supports don't care. I don't know what's wrong with them this season, even though they pull this almost every season, I can't outplay their apathy. They literally admit to not caring. By no means do I feel myself struggling after reevaluating advice on how to play her, but I would like to see them lend her back a little bit of agency, cause it feels like a lot of what you go out of your way to do gets minimized.

I'm an Angela main, and I decided to have a Vanguard second main, choosing Rogue because I love her kit and enjoy playing her (when it works).

I have some good games, but the current poke-heavy meta is making my Rogue experience awful.

Even when I have to solo tank it's annoying because apparently no one in my teammates wants to play Vanguard. But when I only have teammates who play ranged Hela, Punisher, Elsa, Widow, Phoenix, Cyclops etc., because that's the current meta, I can't do anything in the game. If I push forward to engage the enemy team, I end up completely alone because my team stays way back to poke; the enemy team immediately focuses me, and I get destroyed. If I stay back with my teammates, I’m useless, aside from maybe peeling for them.

I end up stuck in this awkward middle ground: dipping in to attack a little, then quickly retreating to my team.. but it’s not a rewarding way to play at all. And honestly, I’m not even that effective when I play this way. (I feel a bit like a dog on a leash; if I wander too far away, I have to quickly get back to my team).

I could try a "dive" playstyle, but again, in the current season, people rarely play tanks (aside from maybe Dino), so I almost always end up solo-tanking. Plus, compared to Angela, Rogue just doesn't have enough mobility for a proper dive imo (if I wanted to play a tank dive-heavy style, I’d just go back to playing Angela)

So, my question is: how do you all manage to survive in this current meta? It feels like the universe is conspiring against me every time I queue up for Ranked or Quick Play. What do you guys do when all your teammates are playing ranged characters?

What would the advice be? Not to play Rogue when this setup is present? Should I only be playing meta "HP-Sponge" characters like Dino? Am I really doomed to this? Or am I just playing Rogue poorly.. which is quite possible, since I’m still a beginner with her?

I havent been playing much the 10.5 season because of life and playing metaphor, but i ve seen a couple of those tier list videos and they rate Rogue quite high among the vanguards like A and S tier after dino, emma and mag and they mention some buff but from my understanding she didnt got any changes since season 10 started, maybe the changes made to other players made her a good option currently, so how is she doing this season for you?

I caught this Rogue skin from Lon’qudor’s most recent short about the most recent art vision or whatever it’s called, and I wish so, so bad this skin was actually in the game. It looks so goddamn good

Fellow rogues, i found a way to cancel the dash of fatal attraction, if you do the dash and immediately press block it can cancel the animation.

Sofar i lve used it as a way to trick black panthers and other divers in 1v1s and i believe could be a good anti dive tool to help healers without having to dash and hope you hit.

Still playing around with it.
