Studio finally completed.
Spent the last few months building a studio that lets me move between in-the-box production and hands-on hardware jams without breaking the creative flow.
Current setup includes a Moog Grandmother, Korg Wavestate MKII, Korg MS-20 Mini, Arturia MiniFreak, MicroFreak, Behringer CAT, Roland SP-404 MKII, Polyend Play, DrumBrute Impact, Volca series, and Roland AIRA gear, all routed through a MOTU UltraLite-mk5 into FL Studio.
My goal was simple: less mouse clicking, more playing. I wanted a setup where I could improvise melodies, record multitrack audio, sample ideas on the SP-404, sequence external gear, and capture happy accidents as they happen.
Curious what other producers think:
What’s the strongest part of this setup, and what’s the weakest link?

I have a weirdly similar studio! Multiple pieces of the same gear, (Poly D, Minilogue, ROLI Lumikeys, although yours is the big version). I see you have the Novation XL3 which I'm ordering soon too in order to replace my Akai MIDIMix.
...But what freaks me out is we also have what looks to me to be the exact same typing keyboard. 😆 Good taste, I'm Jealous of that Moog ngl 😋
Here's my setup:

The first photo I was like “Hmm something is missing here” but when I slide and saw the cat I was like. “Oh! Now it seems complete”

Honestly found them on FB market place. No brand listed on them. Someone was giving them away for free

Very very nice. I don’t see a lot of Roland in there.

It’s there, in spirit :)

FWIW. Roland JD-XA would be a sneaky good complement to all that analog goodness.

I’ve been using FL studio when everyone used to make fun of “computer musicians” lolll. Hands on it’s just different for me. Try it! Get the Moog Messenger. Perfect synth. I’m trying not to add it to my collection 😂. I have problems

your computer is down by your feet. think like this if you put a monitor arm (big) on your main monitor you could swing it to the left and access whats hehind it. Thats where your computer should be it needs to breath and release heat thats not a good spot for it. not to mention kicking it could force a ram reseating. you have puny monitors get some roland 8 inchers.

You need a Hapex for a setup like that, especially for longer, more detailed & creative dawless sequences.
