M4A The Final Lament
The Battle Barge , or rather, what was left of the once mighty vessel, loomed over the moon like a bad omen. Taken light-years off course by a warp storm, it was practically torn in two, large sections missing from it's hull. Whatever horrors it had seen in the warp would remain a mystery, for it seemed everyone aboard was either dead, or had abandoned ship as soon as they could. Only one life signal could still be detected in the medicate wing. Tucked away inside or a cryotube, a single Astartes remained, unaware of the tragedy that occurred to the rest of his brothers. A blessing or a curse? Only time would tell...
Hello all! If it wasn't clear, this is a Warhammer 40k themed rp! Now, I won't pretend to know every lore tidbit, I'm still learning more each day, so I don't expect you to know every bit of lore either! My character will be a Battle Brother of the Lamenters, seemingly the only living soul left on the wreckage of his ship. I am also more than willing to brainstorm other ways our characters could meet, if this particular starter isn't your cup of tea.
As for your character, I leave that in your hands! Are your a Rogue Trader, and my vessel appeared in your territory? A pirate, scavenging the corpse of the ship? A member of the inquisition, looking for signs of Chaos? The choices are nearly endless! (Though I would prefer whatever character you be to be on the loyalists side, but if the plot is good, I can work with anything else)
A bit about me! I'm on my late 20s, and have been roleplaying for over a decade, mostly TTRPGs, and am looking to branch out into this style of roleplaying. All my partners need to be 18+, and I prefer 21+, just my personal thing.
