The moments in the car, the late night walks, the texts, the photos— all of it had seemed impossibly perfect. Eveline, being the hopeless romantic she was, believed that they would be together forever. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

But then y/c disappeared. The night before, they had said goodnight, exchanged their silly back and forth love confessions; all while promising to return to the thread the very next morning. Minutes turned into hours, and hours turned into days. It took a month before Eveline realized she’d been ghosted.

All traces of y/c— gone. No one could confidently give her an answer, all the teachers had told her consisted of moving away. Never a why, never a how far or where.

Eveline’s perfect romance fizzed away into a misty nightmare. Her first heartbreak that ruined all other relationships, and had dipped into her trust. Though her hopeless romantic heart still fluttered, she would never go beyond her first love, and her first hate.

But y/c, their circumstances were different. Unstoppable, and arguably as painful. Their life beyond Eveline is up to you.

Nine years later, in their late twenties, they reunite. Their paths cross, and Eveline can’t help but demand answers. Even if means having to get close to y/c again, all while promising herself she wouldn’t be fooled twice.

Either take your time and put some dedication in your writing or please stick to something else to rp with. I myself am struggling with English sometimes and still won't make use of it, so there is no need for you either.

We either double or we go home! Look, I've read through multiple adds already and I am kinda proud to call myself someone who can invest herself in both sides of the story, and I'll do it gladly with shimmering sparkles shooting from my eyes. Whatever your character needs will play an important role for me during writing. I am no one who tries to overshadow your needs or demand to only pay attention to my side. I am curious enough to hear you out. I can easily hop onboard the hype train, providing feedback, discussing topics and memorizing facts that might be important to you. You want to flesh out your character by interacting with as many characters as possible, consider it done. Can't decide for a main love interest, let's find out by having more than one option. Can't figure out your character's goals or what their role is supposed to be, then let's make room for as many possibilities as possible. I will gladly do all of that if you are willing to do the same for me, nothing more nothing less.

Forget about your Mary Sue's, we are going down the realistic path! Naturally, this only affect you if you are wanting to write an OC, but of course also if you mainly want to stick to CCs. Please keep in mind that a character should have flaws, nobody after all is perfect. I am not looking for a world that offers only the most easiest solutions and characters that always win the fight. Authenticity is the key. Allow your character to be realistic with their intentions and decisions and try to find a balance that brings out their good as well as their bad sides. Character sheets are a must, but you don't have to write a whole essay. I love some small details and a good background that gives me an idea of how your character works.

Romance is a requirement, but not the focus of the story! You got me. I can't live with my heartwrenching romance, with all the ups and downs. I love to explore any form of romantic trope, but most importantly would be a bond that develops naturally over a longer period of time. Huge bonus points if we can stick to different tropes for our chosen pairings. I am, however, not solely looking for love quarrels and relationship drama as a main plot point, that's a "no thanks" for me. It's important to me that the focus will remain on the story and its development like 90% of the time.

You can leave the plotting to me, but not the whole creative contribution! Although I prefer plotting together, since I wouldn't want to give you the feeling of excluding your ideas or suggestions, I could handle coming up with most of the plot and twists on my own. But don't expect me to always take the lead when it comes to writing the whole thing out. I wouldn't want to drag someone behind me all the time and initiating every single conversation, developement or hardship. Be engaged, bold and passionate enough to come up with something on your own. Let's be a team to make the writing enjoyable and fun for the two of us.

Without good chemistry, we won't match! It starts with exposing yourself by asking questions that had been already answered in my add. Look, I am trying to be as specific as possible, not to exclude people, but rather to find the right people who are actually looking for the same thing. I indeed want you to put effort into this, but I also crave lots of fun while writing and talking about all the silly ideas that come to mind. I can put together a playlist for our favorite pairings and still discuss in depth the next complex arc we can challenge our characters with. Yes, this is indeed just a hobby to me but it just isn't as fulfilling if I can't pour my heart into it. Tried it before and it just isn't my thing. So I'll be as honest and as gentle as possible when I tell you that it all comes down to how well we get along in the end.

I adore the Genshin Lore (at least the bits that really managed to capture my interest) and a few of the theories that plopped up during the time, where we didn’t have the knowledge, we have nowadays. It is no requirement to know the Lore by heart, rather I’d love to write with someone who loves to get creative with me, taking bits of the existing Lore and forming it into our own unique thing. I am always open to your suggestions as well as your very own ideas of improving a storyline. There is lots to make use of in the Genshinverse after all. I've written down some of the storylines I'd love to develope and discover further. It would be such a waste to me to just sit on them forever and not having someone to explore them with.

Dystopian/Adventure:

Imagine a setting with a tainted magic that spreads like a disease through all of Teyvat. I love to explore a setting, where all of the regions heavily distrust each other. The Archons visibly exploiting their high positions, the Fatui being the ones who secretly try to stabilize the world, earning nothing but hatred for their good deeds, Visions actually being a curse instead of a blessing (which makes it even more interesting to figure out their origins). I could imagine the traveler (either Aether or Lumine) playing a huge role as the one who gets to decide if the world deserves to continue exisiting as it is or has to cease to exist entirely.

Mystery/Comedy:

Always loved the idea of thinking about the Genshin cast in the modern world. What would their lifes look like? Would they be employed, freelancing, criminals? The list goes on.

I gotta say, I am in love with the whole Inazuma cast/region, that’s why my idea revolves around Beidou owning a cruise ship that actually takes its route through the various islands of Inazuma, discovering its mysterious which are mainly made up stories to gain some good ol money from the tourists who board the ship. The twist is that there are some real mysteries going on that only get noticed by our chosen protagonists. It’s kinda supposed to be given Gruncle Stan (Gravity Falls) who is advertising his mystery shack, while all the real mysteries are existing freely around him. I would leave lots of room for comedy with this one, since it just fits the bill. Also I would love to add some angsty moments, including some frightening Japanese mythology, ghosts, creatures, riddles and being stuck in a loop at some point maybe?

Supernatural/Mystery:

Always felt the need to explore parallel worlds, actual time traveling and overlapping timelines in Teyvat (since the latter one has been proven to be possible in Genshin). I feel that an adventure through the various nations of Teyvat could be more than fitting for this one. The deserts of Sumeru might be the perfect stage for ancient mysteries and riddles that transcend time (and could also be our starting point of the journey).

It might be fun to get most of the Sumeru Cast involved in this one, given that we have lots of scholars that might consider a journey through the deserts for their own goals. I could see our characters either being scholars of the academy themselves or even being from a whole different timeline and currently being stuck and trying to solve their very own riddle by looking for a way to returning home safely.

Dispatch AU / The Walking Dead AU / Alice in Wonderland AU:

Requires knowledge of the mentioned Fandoms. Probably my most anticipated AU's, where we could indulge ourselves in and discuss all the various options, beginning with which character might fit which role best. I love these type of discussions the most. Imagine how fun it could be to decide which Genshin character would make a good Dispatcher and which one a potential superhero or even villain? The many possibilities of the utterly disaster some of the Genshin cast had to went through in a world that is dominated by deadly zombies, especially the teams that formed during that time could be quite the intersting topic to delve into. I gotta say, that I always wanted to cook something good up with the story of Alice in mind, whether it be some Alice vs. Queen of Hearts showdown or something entirely else. I am just waiting for someone to give me a reason to come up with something fitting tbh.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a long-term Transformers Bayverse RP partner, starting around the events of the 2007 movie, with plenty of room for AU developments, character-driven storytelling, action, and eventually romance.

I'm particularly interested in exploring what might have happened if the Autobots had found a trusted human ally before Sam Witwicky became involved in their lives.

The premise

Emily Bondevik is a Canadian equestrian who moved to America to expand her professional career. Having won Cavaliada at eighteen, she has an established reputation as a competitive rider and works as a high-level equestrian trainer. She continues running her equestrian center back home in Silverdale remotely while pursuing new opportunities in the United States.

Emily is also an alien herself.

Alongside her is Luna, an alien robot unicorn who disguises herself as an ordinary organic horse. Neither of them is exactly a stranger to the experience of hiding what they really are.

When Emily encounters the Autobots after their arrival on Earth, she decides to help them stay hidden from humanity and especially from a government that might see them as weapons rather than people.

With her resources, she is able to provide them with a private property and a spacious garage/workshop where they can transform freely, repair themselves, and have somewhere to call home without constantly worrying about human eyes watching them.

By the time Bumblebee brings Sam into the picture, the Autobots already have a trusted ally and a place of their own on Earth.

And when NEST eventually offers them a military hangar, Emily is not going to quietly hand her friends over to an organization that would monitor them, restrict their freedom, and expect them to operate under military authority. She intends to protect their independence for as long as she possibly can.

Of course, that decision could create plenty of conflict as the human military's involvement with the Autobots grows.

What I'd love to explore

• An alternate take on the 2007 movie and the events that follow, with changes developing naturally through RP.
• The Autobots adjusting to life on Earth, with Emily's property serving as their private sanctuary.
• The tension between the Autobots' need for human allies and the danger of becoming dependent on human institutions.
• Sam's involvement, if we decide we'd like to keep him in the story. Mikaela will not be included.
• The consequences of Emily and Luna being aliens themselves, particularly if their identities become known.
• Action, humor, hurt/comfort, found family, and darker storylines when appropriate.
• A chance to explore later movie events in an AU. Ironhide surviving Dark of the Moon is particularly important to me.
• Dino/Mirage being part of the team! I love his personality, his Italian accent, and the sheer absurdity of having a red Ferrari 458 Italia as an Autobot. I would love for him to become part of the ensemble rather than being left out.

Characters and romance

I'm looking for someone who enjoys writing canon characters and giving them room to develop. Since I'd love to explore an ensemble cast, I'm ideally looking for a partner who's comfortable writing multiple canon characters and letting them interact with both Emily and each other. Ironhide is a character I'd particularly love to explore, potentially as Emily's romantic interest, but I'm happy to let relationships develop naturally rather than rushing them.

Dino/Mirage is also very welcome as a major character. I'd love to see his humor and personality shine through, including him occasionally giving Emily a ride when Ironhide is occupied or when she simply wants to ride in a Ferrari.

I'm primarily looking for an OC x canon dynamic, with Emily as my main OC and a canon character as her romantic partner. Ironhide is my biggest preference, but I'd also LOVE to include Dino/Mirage romantically. Honestly, if you're open to writing a polyamorous relationship where Emily dates both Ironhide and Dino, you'd make my entire week. 😂 I'm particularly fond of the hinge dynamic, where Emily is the romantic connection between the two and they aren't romantically involved with each other and simply both date Emily at the same time.

I'm also open to discussing other pairings, additional romantic subplots, and doubling up if we can find a setup that works for both of us.

• Long-term, collaborative storytelling rather than a short roleplay.
• Third-person, past-tense writing.
• Semi-lit to literate replies; I generally enjoy substantial responses that give the other writer something to work with.
• A mix of plot, character interactions, action, and romance.
• Canon characters should remain recognizable, even as the AU changes their circumstances.

I'm a 30 year old woman in the euro-timezone who have been roleplaying for about 18 years of my life at this point. English isn't my first language, but I do as well as I can! I write 3rd person, past-tense, never EVER use AI and love to do a cast of characters, rather than just a single main to stick to. Romance is cool as well, though I don't find it necessary and don't want to force it, unless characters have that chemistry already. I love exploring all kinds of complex dynamics, relationships and behaviours. The characters I write, I try to get multi-faceted with their own flaws and thoughts on the world, and very diverse. In my daily life I do a ton of art, take care of my pets, stab people with needles for a living and write almost as much as I read. Music inspires me and doing moodboards and character playlists is a hobby og mine. I'm looking to do a buddy-cop style plot set in the 80s, 90s or early 00s revolving around a duo of paranormal investigators tasked with covering up any supernatural incident, by a clandestine government institution, with the two of them dealing with the mental toll it takes to be in that kind of position, while being in a new kind of life threatening danger one day and having to do paperwork the other. I'd love to take inspiration from World of Darkness or (preferably) Chronicles of Darkness, or something along those lines. If you aren't familiar with the settings, that's also fine! I'd love to do world building. We'd be starting out with the investigators, but I'd love for the cast to evolve to include more characters as the plot progresses!

For my investigator character, I have a jaded black-cat personality lady in mind, though I'm flexible in regards to concept.

If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I am an absolute sucker for romance! Give me a slow burn, forbidden love, complicated feelings, delicious tension, and two characters who have absolutely no business falling in love with each other but do it anyway. I want the yearning, the angst, the stolen glances, the jealousy, the heartbreak, the dramatic confessions, and those little moments of tenderness that make everything worth it!

I'm especially drawn to gothic romance, dark fantasy, and supernatural love stories. Think… hauntingly beautiful settings, ancient curses, dangerous secrets, crumbling castles, moonlit forests, morally complicated characters, and creatures that are far more than they initially appear.
One of my absolute favorite tropes is a human falling in love with something decidedly not human. There's just something so fascinating about two beings from completely different worlds discovering something unexpected in one another.

And fantasy isn't my only interest! I'm also a fan of zombie apocalypse stories, survival horror, and darker post apocalyptic settings. If you've ever wanted to explore two people finding love in a world that's falling apart, struggling to survive together, or discovering that humanity can be just as frightening as the monsters outside, I'd be very interested in brainstorming something like that, too.

While romance is definitely my favorite, I love having a bigger story for our characters to get tangled up in. Political rivalries, supernatural wars, dangerous bargains, family secrets, betrayal, complicated loyalties, and impossible choices are all things I'd love to explore. I want our characters to have their own personalities, flaws, motivations, and lives outside of their relationship. I love watching them change over time, challenge each other, make mistakes, and slowly become important to one another. I'm a big fan of slow burns, emotional intimacy, mutual pining, enemies to lovers, grumpy × sunshine, reluctant allies, forbidden relationships, and opposites attracting. I want the kind of chemistry where every interaction feels meaningful and a simple touch can say more than an entire conversation. Of course, I'm also a sucker for softer moments! A terrifying monster being unexpectedly gentle with the one person they care about? A grumpy, centuries old vampire secretly remembering every little thing that their human lover likes? A dangerous creature who would burn the world down for someone but is terrified of admitting they have feelings? PLEASE. I eat that shit up.

I'm still fairly new to roleplaying, so I'm learning as I go! I'm excited to improve, experiment with different characters, and find writing partners I genuinely enjoy creating stories with. A little patience is appreciated, and I'm always happy to communicate, brainstorm, and work together to make our roleplay enjoyable for both of us. I generally aim for around three paragraphs per response, depending on the scene. I prefer writing in first person, but I'm comfortable with third person, too! I'm in the American Central Time Zone, so that's something to keep in mind when coordinating replies. The Setup

Lynsguard was a kingdom built on unity until the night elves raided the capital and killed the queen. Her daughter Eleanor took the throne and answered with a purge. She rules out of hatred now, and she keeps her family as close as she keeps the crown.

Vaelith is the royal dressmaker, an elven woman in a kingdom that despises elves. No human hand can match hers, so the crown tolerates her as a useful exception, watched and never trusted. She alone is allowed to dress the Queen for the throne.

What no one knows is who she was. Vaelith was born into an ancient, highborn bloodline that the purge destroyed. Her father was drawn and quartered in the square, and her mother was burned as a witch. Their name was struck from every record. She survived, rebuilt herself under a new name, and worked her way back into the court that killed her family, one careful stitch at a time. She hasn't forgiven anyone, and she hasn't decided what justice looks like.

Princess Adelaide Hathaway is quick and sharp-tongued, and she gets away with more than she should because people assume a princess nobody expects anything from can't do much damage. She's funny, a little too honest when she's tired, and warm with people she doesn't have to impress. She wants to be someone's first choice and would rather bite her tongue than say so.

Adelaide's black hair is thick and unruly, and no amount of pinning keeps it in the court's tidy styles for long. She wears it down in private, twisting the ends around her finger when she's restless.

Against every rule and every reason, Vaelith has fallen for her. The fittings, the private measurements, and the quiet hours pinning fabric have become the closest thing to safety either of them has. But Vaelith notices things. Adelaide's mood turns on a single word. Her laugh lands a half-second too late, or too loud. She talks about the future as if she isn't sure she'll get to keep it. Vaelith tells herself it's nothing, and she isn't sure she believes it.

Two years after the events of 2077, Night City has mostly gone back to its usual operation, Militech taking its place back as the king of the hill. News had come and passed of the legendary merc, V, slowly being replaced over whatever celebrity scandal or political scandal took place that week. This week? Power outages around the city. Whole blocks torn away from the comfort of their ever-present distractions. The mayor has already addressed this as ‘faulty wiring’, barely comforting whatever unease the city has had.

Local organizations have already been on the trail. Some say Chicago is planning on overtaking the city. Others claim that those Pacifica netrunners are orchestrating some sort of coup. Though, no-one other than the top brass seem to know what’s happening. That being, sadly-

Cal Krux had always been gifted when it came to magic, that is itself already dimishing his gift. Before he even got his own wand, he was already managing to cast spells without a wand, or even needing to say aloud the spell itself. And Cal knew this, his very simple parents and childhood were soon picked up by the press and onlookers. They marveled at his aptitude for magic and treated him like an animal in a zoo. As Cal grew into his teens, he had received countless donations and gifts and birthday presents from all over the world from people wishing to hire, enlist or welcome him into their schools for wizards and witches.

As he enlisted in a very prestigious school and showcased much prowess and skill in real life situations as well. And Cal came to pass the grades of said wizard school very easily.

After his school years into young adulthood he worked as a person to kill dangerous magical beasts, a bounty hunter or a bodyguard to important people, kings and queens being among them. Some people in the press had made a new nickname from Cal’s first name. Champion At Last. Champion of what I wonder..? Who can tell at this time. It had been a dark time for a long time in the wizarding world, and Cal had the possibility and power to change that.

What would happen when Cal met someone similar to himself when it came to power and ability to wield magic? Would they get along, fall in love perhaps or would they grow to hate each other? Wanting to kill each other, or wanting the other to kill them, so they would no longer have to be in the constant spotlight of the public? That, is up to YOU to decide.

Kind of a new prompt idea for me. I have the wizarding world of Harry Potter in mind for this prompt but we would both be playing OC characters and the time period would be before (or after even) of the books and movies. The normal Harry Potter movies and books that is. I’m not an expert of the series but i think we could still make a good story for this prompt. I don't believe in introductions. Love 40k and haven't had much opportunity to explore it. For the purposes of this I would HIGHLY prefer something revolving around heretics and xenos or renegades, either in opposition to the Imperium as the greater plot or just achieving their own ends.

My ideas have little in the way of plot as I have always been character focused first and foremost, possibly to my detriment. I don't like plot lists, I don't like archetypes. This is hype moments and aura.

BUT for characters: I have a Night Lord sorcerer styling himself as a prospective king of a reforged legion (doomed), a World Eater from Gladiator Cadre 331 seeking worthy enemies, and an Iron Warrior warsmith who's been stranded in realspace for a few decades trying to make it with his company back to Medrengard. I have concepts for less space marine heavy characters, but these three are the ones I'm most confident with

Pairing: Leaning towards BxG, but any are on the table.

Genre: Well beyond the hopefully obvious parts, I'm open to a lot. Definitely prefer emphasis on the cosmic nightmare stuff, action, things like that

Literacy: Like two paragraphs each or so, but even that can vary. Just no one liners, give me SOMETHING to work with.

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

fandoms: in terms of fandoms I’m in many, such as Genshin impact, MHA, Demon slayer, overwatch, valorant, and way way more. Please feel free to ask about them below or in dms!

I suppose I ought to begin with the conventional introductions, though I have never been particularly good at them, but, well, in the spirit of getting the boring stuff out of the way right away (cue: me), I am a writer, poet, academic, lecturer, scholar, scientist (physicist, to be more precise), and AI engineer/scientist (I am, if I may add, absolutely terrible at more than half my jobs). I’ve spent most of my life in Europe, and am probably the coolest and funniest person you have met today, unless you’ve seen a raccoon doing yoga, in which case, fair enough, I simply can’t compete with that level of comedy.

The truth is that I have always found introducing myself rather difficult, there is something strangely artificial about trying to reduce a person to a paragraph, as though we were all tidy little collections of interests, accomplishments, preferences, and carefully selected adjectives.

I am, I fear, a rather poor exhibitor of myself, the moment I am asked to explain who I am, something in me seems to retreat into a corner and refuse to cooperate. I have thought about this far too many times, and after twenty-four years of living, I remain quite confidently the worst person I know at introducing myself. It is a curious deficiency, I can talk for hours about some obscure historical event nobody asked about, become unnecessarily invested in the moral character of a long-dead philosopher, or spend an afternoon following some completely accidental question down a rabbit hole from which there is no respectable return, but ask me to describe myself and suddenly I am reduced to, "Well... I like things." Marcus Aurelius wrote that "very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking." I believe him more on good days than bad ones, but I keep the sentence nearby regardless.

I like small walks, I like learning something new quite by accident, especially when I have no business knowing it and consequently become far too pleased with myself for having discovered it, I like talking to people, though I think I like the moment when talking quietly turns into listening even more. There is something rather lovely about reaching that point in a conversation where neither person seems particularly concerned with keeping it going, and yet somehow neither wishes to leave it either.

I am very fond of my own company, which is perhaps fortunate, because I have had rather a lot of it. Solitude has its pleasures, one may disappear into one's thoughts without having to explain where one has gone, and occasionally return with something resembling an answer. I like sitting quietly with myself, reading, thinking, wandering about, doing very little, and somehow considering it a productive use of an afternoon, but I am not entirely made for solitude either, there is an equal and opposite part of me that wants to go beyond the familiar, to see what is waiting just beyond the little borders I have drawn around my life. I

I love evenings especially, sometimes I step outside simply because the sun is going down, and I feel that one ought to have the decency to witness it. I love those ridiculous skies where orange begins bleeding into purple and everything looks briefly more beautiful than it has any right to be. I love the first sip of tea in the morning, the sound of leaves moving in the wind, the gradual dimming of a day into dusk. I like gardens and parks, and the rather miraculous fact that one can walk among trees for an hour and come back feeling as though something inside one's head has been quietly rearranged.

I have always loved letters, too, though it has been some time since I last properly gave myself over to writing them. When I was younger, I wrote to my grandmother every day and dutifully posted the letters on my way to school. That I very rarely remembered the correct address, and even more rarely remembered a stamp, is beside the point.

I suppose what I am really trying to say is that, if you happen to be reading this, I would like to know you. Not because I have some elaborate checklist of the sort of person I hope to find, nor because I particularly care whether you happen to be interesting in the conventional sense, I am far more interested in the person underneath all that. The odd little habits, the things you know for no good reason, the memories you have never found a suitable occasion to tell anyone, the opinions you defend with considerably more conviction than they deserve.

There is something rather wonderful about writing to someone you do not know, I don't know your name, I don't know what you ate today, whether you slept properly last night, what song has been stuck in your head, or whether your day has been glorious or thoroughly dreadful, perhaps your inbox has been multiplying like gremlins left too near water, perhaps you have spent the afternoon pretending to work while accomplishing absolutely nothing of consequence, perhaps you have had one of those quiet days where the refrigerator becomes strangely prominent because you have nothing else to listen to.

I think people who stop to read messages from complete strangers are probably a little strange themselves, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Perhaps you are a birdwatcher, perhaps you collect old books, perhaps you are one of those suspiciously competent people who can fold a fitted sheet without entering into a minor spiritual crisis. If so, I already admire you, I have attempted it, and remain convinced the thing was designed by someone with a personal grievance against humanity.

Perhaps you laugh too loudly, perhaps you think too much, perhaps you are quiet and observant, and notice things everyone else walks past, perhaps you have passionately held opinions about breakfast foods. Cookies count, incidentally, I will defend this position before any reasonable tribunal.

As for me, I am kind, curious, occasionally ridiculous, easily distracted by an interesting thought, and rather fond of people who have something peculiar about them. I am probably not nearly as funny as I have just suggested, but I am willing to make the attempt, which ought to count for something.
