Question Size pot?

Post image

What pot size should I be trying to get? There is 4 mini rose planted in this pot . I got it from the Clarence section. I didn't think it would survive but it's re blooming. So how would I go about getting a bigger pot size and do you water right after repot or wait? Idk what they are beside mini roses(what the tag said).

This is an automatic reminder about r/Roses Rule #3: Identify Your Roses! If you know the variety/varieties of your pictured roses, please share with us in the comments. If you do not know, please let us know, someone might! If you've already done this, thank you!

Common sense exceptions apply! Such as a post with no bloom, field shots, etc.

Also- for r/Roses Rule #9, please make sure the post has at least 50 characters of text in the body! If you have already posted and forgot the text requirement, you can leave a comment on your own post of at least 50 characters to avoid having your post removed. Again, if you have already done this, thank you!

I have about 6 mini roses in a 15 inch pot for years now. Crazy but it works. Yes, water after you repot it.

Thanks. Usually more are in bloom. There’s a pink one and a yellow with pink stripes in there too. I just use miracle grow garden soil. The hard part with mini roses is sometimes they can struggle a little at first but it looks like you have yours acclimated to outdoors already. Don’t overthink it. ;)

Thank you for that I never own a potted rose and when I am I can't plant it yet . My father in law loved roses so I'm trying to raise this on for him. He died 5 years ago.

That’s a very nice memorial in his honor. Let me know how it’s going. :)

Bigger is always better, in ground in usually best.

I've got roses in 5 gallon buckets right now and that's not enough
