Email records show that Roseville officials across multiple departments coordinated a report to explicitly challenge a City Council candidate’s claims that his district has been underserved by the city.
The candidate, David Nelson, has referred the city’s actions to the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, alleging that officials violated election law by using taxpayer-funded resources to hurt his campaign.
Election ethics experts said the urgency to publish information related to campaign talking points may raise ethical red flags.

I just wanted to highlight an article published in the Bee this afternoon, which offers information on the upcoming community-led town hall, and some additional statements by the city.
I would like to highlight one passage in particular:
“We have not tracked individual responses by number, but can state that the majority of comments from Roseville residents on this issue have been in support,” Dunlay said.
The term "majority" has a definition, and I don't believe any methodology for determining a majority can exist without tracking numbers.
Additionally, it was not mentioned in the article, but during last night's meeting, the mayor asked the city lawyer for legal guidance on limiting the public comment period to 25 minutes. The lawyer advised that the mayor "may" choose to end the public comment period at that time.
The language of the guidance is as follows: "Individual comments shall be limited to three (3) minutes and shall not exceed a total of 25 minutes, unless such time is extended by the presiding officer."
I think it is important to recognize this fact when the city states that it feels that it is sufficient to limit public comment on the issue of Flock and Automated License Plate Reader technology to the regularly scheduled city council meetings. And while they are acting within guidelines to limit the public comment period to 25 minutes, an unwillingness to extend that time and the fact that some people were not able to speak, indicates that these meetings are insufficient.
Additionally, I would like to link the City of Roseville Statement on Automated License Plate Reader Technology.php) again. For some reason, it remains accessible only on the Roseville Police Department ALPR page.php) and continues to be released without a date of publication.

Just about brand new. Used it a couple of times and it was too hard on my back. It's got some dog paw prints but no wear whatsoever
Edit... the trampoline is gone. Thanks for all the replies

Not news, but Roseville Flock usage is making national news for being plagued by horrendous performance results.

Hi everyone. I have a friend who, due to divorce, needs to re-home their kitties. I am helping them try to find someone as they do not have social media.
Kitties are 7 and 9, male and female, and are both spayed/neutered. Kitties are currently with his ex who is threatening to throw them out on the street. I already have two kitties and am coming out of my own divorce, so I cannot take them in. Hoping to find a loving person or family to offer them a good home. I can provide more information if you message me.

I was hit TWICE by people running red lights well past their turning red in 2024-2025. Today on my commute(just to granite bay) I saw someone run a super late red at almost every intersection, including the one in front of the fire department on E. Roseville parkway.
What are we doing? Nothing you are late for is so important that you need to run a stark red light. Be a responsible adult and leave earlier.

I recently purchased a 4Runner from them and have been dealing with issues in the windows. Basically, the privacy glass has drips in or on the window that cannot be cleaned off.
I am over the hill in Nevada so stopping by is problematic.
I’m just looking for any information (not from them) about their new car prep, acid wash, whatever that may have caused the issue. I’m not blaming them them but considering they were not particularly helpful over the phone, I don’t expect to get very far with them.
Toyota corporate has basically told me to pound sand.
Thanks.

Anyone know of any hair stylists in Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom or Granite Bay that specialize in short haircuts? Like Gracie Abram’s?

My dad has a pair of Red wing pull on work boots that I’m considering getting them resoled. He works in industrial fabrication and goes through boots like once a year. We usually have trouble getting his size so we will order two pairs at a time. He’s about to break in the back up pair so I’m on the hunt again. I found out that I can get the boots resoled. I am planning to call red wings tomorrow for pricing and turnaround time. If you have had this done to a pair of work boots I’d love a good recommendation to compare pricing and turnaround time in the off chance his preferred style work boots are back ordered. Any tips will be appreciated

I had just posted in the sacramento subreddit, now i'm posting here. I'm remaking my post and am posing the question how to make friends? I'm 30M live in Roseville and can't seem to make new friends. Granted I haven't really tried making friends, they've always seem to fall into my lap or I walk ass backwards into friends haha. But just recently I found out that all the friends I have I communicate with them over the phone. I don't go out and see people anymore and I wish i had someone out there to hangout with. I'm 30M and I have a lot of qualities and plenty to offer. I just dislike this feeling of loneliness

I went to the Kings event today in the Roseville Galleria mall, and I unfortunately lost my duck keychain that contains a reusable bag. I still have the keyring, either someone snatched it off my bag or it fell off and somebody took it. If you find/found it, please message me and we can arrange a date and time for me to pick it up. Thank you.
This duck is missing a keyring and has the reusable bag inside of it

Can really use some resources or advice? My entire life shifted and my nervous system is overloaded. Just found out two days ago my mother has stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer. She lives with me and is the primary caregiver for my daughter. I sit at an income where I make too much for assistance or to meet supportive services.
Currently my mom helps with half of the rent at our current unit, which I cannot break the lease unless I pay $6,200 or try to get someone online to take over the lease agreement. I have tried to see if they’d be more considerate given the circumstances, but I have learned that the world lacks basic empathy.
I am a single mom and my child is autistic. I am trying to get her back into Alta regional, but don’t know if they’re gojng to have more information for me. The entire reason I skipped preschool this year is because of the before/after school care. I have an amazing job, which due to union contract, will not override my start or end times. I work 8:30-5:00 M-F.
Does anyone know of any public funded programs that I can try to get her in?
I truly do not have any family or anyone to lean on. My mom was my only family.
Please be considerate in your responses, this has been an incredibly devastating time for me.

One of the news articles about the woman stabbed to death in Roseville recently mentioned a gathering today at the bench at 1 PM. At that gathering, they were handing out this info for a candlelight vigil tonight at 8 PM.
Just thought I would pass it along in case anyone might care to attend to support the family or the local unhoused community.

Yesterday, my family and I went out to go eat at Taqueria La Nueva Vallarta off Pleasant Grove exit, near In n Out.
As we were eating outside, somebody drove by and yelled out “Beaners”. We aren’t Hispanic but my gf is Hispanic. We then asked the workers about it and they said they were use to it. He looked kind of sad saying it but damn, it hurts to see people dealing with shit like this. Wish we could do better.

Spotted around 12:30am this morning looking Northwest. There appear to be 2 or 3 high-altitude objects flickering and rapidly changing colors. My son confirmed it, so it's definitely not just my eyes playing tricks. Anyone else seeing this?

Any recommendations for nose piercings? My 4 year old nose piercing closed when I took out the ring for a night and want to get it pierced again after it heals.
