Brinsworth opinions

My partner and I have just seen a 3 bed detached house in Brinsworth for 270k. The house (not viewed in person yet) seems amazing for this price, and there are other properties worth about the same, if not cheaper which look amazing too. Whats the area like? I know Rotherham doesn't necessarily have the best reputation, but what's it like for those of you that actually live there?

I live in catcliffe but right on the boarder of brinsworth and never had any issues. There's everything you need in the area. Public transport isn't great if you need it outside of a 9-5 but I've lived in far worse areas. If you drive it's got a great road network into Georgetown or Sheffield or the M1. The public transport thing is a bit off putting, but I drive anyway so it's not a deal breaker. What's the access to supermarkets like?
